Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, commonly referred to as Paris Saint-Germain (French: [paʁi sɛ̃ʒɛʁmɛ̃], ult. ref. "Saint Germanus"), PSG, Paris, or Paris SG, is a French professional football club based in Paris. The club was founded in 1970 following the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain, and competes in Ligue 1, the top tier of French football. PSG play their home matches at the Parc des Princes. With a total of 60 trophies, including 59 major titles, PSG are the most successful club in France. The club is also the most popular football club in the country and one of the most widely supported teams worldwide. PSG maintain rivalries with Olympique de Marseille, with whom they contest Le Classique, and with Paris FC in the Paris derby.

After establishing itself in the top flight during the 1970s, the Parisians won their first major titles in the 1980s, beginning with two Coupe de France trophies and later their first Ligue 1 championship. The club's rise continued in the 1990s, as PSG won nine trophies, including a second league title and their first European honour, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Despite a second European trophy with the UEFA Intertoto Cup, the club struggled during the 2000s. A resurgence began in the 2010s after PSG were acquired by the government-operated Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), whose significant financial backing enabled the club to dominate domestic competitions and win their first UEFA Champions League titles back-to-back in 2025 and 2026.

PSG have won a total of 54 domestic trophies: a record 14 Ligue 1 titles, one Ligue 2 title, a record 16 Coupe de France, a record 9 Coupe de la Ligue, and a record 14 Trophée des Champions. Internationally, PSG is the most decorated French team, with six major trophies, including a French record two UEFA Champions League titles, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and the UEFA Intertoto Cup. In 2025, they won their first UEFA Champions League, becoming the first French club to complete a continental treble. That same year, PSG also won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, becoming the first French side to claim both trophies, earning the first club world title in French football history, and completing an unprecedented sextuple. In 2026, they retained the Champions League title, becoming only the second club in the Champions League era to retain the title in successive seasons.

Since 2011, PSG have been majority-owned by QSI, with Arctos Partners acquiring a minority stake in 2023. As of January 2026, PSG are the richest club in France, rank among the wealthiest football clubs globally, and are one of the most valuable clubs in the world. Beyond its men's football team, the club operates a youth academy, a women's football team, and departments in handball, judo, and esports. PSG's women's team are among the highest-revenue sides in world women's football, while its handball team have the largest budget in European handball. The club have previously fielded teams in basketball, volleyball, boxing, and rugby league.

"Mark stop saying that," Wade said on his own podcast. "Mark, we beat y'all. Did we get some foul calls? Everybody gets foul calls. We can all go back and point -- I can go back and point at 2011 in one of them series where Dirk had 48 [points], he had 24 free throws in one of those games. Does that mean that the referees wanted them to win? I don't know, but it wasn't rigged. We still had to play the game. You had a young guy who was becoming a star in the NBA. Did I get a few whistles? Yes, but was I the only one attacking the basket every play? Probably so. I'm gonna get some calls, too. You're not about to tarnish the work that I put in as a young guy, to do something that not a lot of young guys have done in this game. To say it was rigged, Mark stop that. Y'all got us, we got y'all."

Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul says $200 million isn't as much money as athletes think

"I got guys, 22, making $200 million over the next four or five years. I'm constantly telling them that's not a lot of money based upon where you're starting, because you're starting from zero"

"How do we understand how to compound that. Everyone's not going to play into their 40s. They're done when they're 33. They're paying a 51–55% tax"

"Not to mention jeans today, the ones they want that they're buying in excess, which they probably don't really need, cost $2,000"

"No athlete can afford to fly private all the time, yet we see so many athletes on Instagram flying private"

"I fly Delta. I cannot afford to fly private, and that's okay with me. I'm just trying to get where I'm trying to go to make the money. I'm not trying to spend the money"

"The times I do fly private, you will never see it on Instagram because it's not for show"

He could've give a better breakdown, especially being in his unique position and viewpoint.
