I think Schumer is a useful tool. He has power and the only way to utilize that power is too play the game. I HATE the game, but the only way to get his power is to take it via electoral process. If you want to BE the man, you've got to BEAT the man. The problem is that everybody just wants to get their little taste of power and that's it

I think this was one of the things that surprised Obama. He assumed there were enough people that believed in the constitution and ideals of the law to prevent Donald Trump from becoming what he's morphed into.

20 somethings have been getting dumber and dumber for a couple of generations. Personally, I think the current crop of 20 somethings are significantly smarter than 10, 20 years ago.

If we are to avoid completely falling back into an apartheid state, young people are key. They have historically (60s and prior) been the ones who drive significant change.

Bruh a lot of people were wrong including people on this board. I can remember saying that the so called checks and balances won't be a thing. It was clear to see what was coming if he were to get a second term by looking at the things he was doing in his first term. It was clear to see that the Republican party despite all their talk of respecting the constitution were full of shit. Before Trump was reelected people were defending Trump asking how is Trump racist, when did Trump act like a dictator, why would be a dictator in a second term if he didn't do so in his first term.
