I don't think he can do everything Wemby can do. But I would like to see what he could do with a good
coaching staff and strong organization. Hell I wouldn't be opposed to him coming to SA and backing
up Wemby for a couple of seasons.

I swear at half the time SGA drives to the lane, he does so with NO INTENT to actually get to the basket. Both him and his defender are basically watching and waiting for the whistle.

I’m seeing him get bodies by the guards. Chet has a toughness problem.

He plays fine when Wemby isn't in there but he fears this man. I went back and looked at the games during the regular season against the spurs and there really is something there.
In the first game, Chet had 17 points on 3/8 shooting from the field and 1/3 from the 3point line
2nd game - he had 7 points on 3-10 shooting and 1-3 from the 3 point line
3rd game (SA won) he had 10 points on 5-9 shooting from the field
4th game (Okc won) he had 8 points
5th game SA won and Chet didn't play

With Fred, absolutely...still feels like Castle turns the ball over too much and houston really missed having checker fred out there as the "floor general" this season.
That poise will come in time with Castle ... still young at only 21yo.
Fred is 32 .... and it'll be good when he's back with Houston. Enjoyed watching his game progress with the Raptors ... he was a key part of their winning ways.
I said at the beginning of the series that I had Spurs in 6. One thing about it, is as good as SA, i really think they need more depth and someone to back up wemby thats a tough "dirty work" type of center...someone like a mitchell robinson or an isaiah stewart would be great on this team. I'm not sure what happened, but Kornet was bombing away at 3s all the time in Boston, i know they dont ask him to do that in SA, but that would be an added bonus to the offense..
Stewart would be ready to throw down with a number of players, given how rough some of the fouls were on Wemby and Castle in recent weeks against Minnesota and OKC. A good "enforcer" for their team.
Kinda like back in the 80s and 90s in hockey ... you knew there would be guys to protect the most skilled players like Gretzky and Lemieux (Edmonton and Pittsburgh). Mess with them, and you're getting roughed up by their teammates.
The Spurs are going to need an xfactor next game. Someone other than Wemby to ball out and drop +25.
Really would like to see someone like Keldon or Champagne(sp) go off.
figured this would be a tough game with j-dub and mitchel out. ...rotation was fucked up. didn't even bother trying to match the spurs energy.....knowing they was gonna go hard to avoid that 3-1 hole. its been a good series but still thinking its coming down to whoever have some energy left.
