...bought my son a certified pre-owned buick encore. He's a teenager that i thought I raised with common sense and integrity. Well...his girlfriend snitches and tell me he blew the engine tryna treat it like a scat-pack. One year in...Engine is blown...cost of replacement is ridiculous. What's my best LEGAL option?

I repeat LEGAL OPTION

$6500 for the engine and install isn’t bad. You can shop around for a few hundred off here or there, but go with who does engine swaps for a living not a ninja who does brakes but knows how. Once fixed, get that nigglet a bus pass, keep or sell the car and collect $6500 from Speedracer.

Lil Man GTA’d a grocery getter. :roflmao3:

I may have never uttered the word BUICK. :lol:He 0-60’d one.

2016...nah my 18yr old was dogging it out.

Junk it and take the loss.

That model year is from the era where it has GM proprietary equipment.

Which means there isn’t any DIY Mechanics who can work on it unless they have the software to get into the system.

Taking it too GM is risky cuz they gonna charge maximum when they inspect it and figure out it was user damage.
