“The goal of the war in Iran is now to return everything to the way it was before Trump started the war.”

At some point, foreign policy stopped sounding like strategy and started sounding like someone trying to undo a bad group project five minutes before the deadline.

So let me get this straight: the mission is no longer victory, transformation, deterrence, or some grand historic objective. The mission is now basically, “Can we please put everything back where we found it?…

Threat to the credit system — or the wildest plot twist in financial history?
Iranian hackers are now being portrayed as a nightmare for banks and a dream for millions of Americans: allegedly threatening to erase personal debt, wipe out balances, and push credit scores straight to 800.
Imagine waking up to find your loans gone, your credit report magically glowing, and every bank executive suddenly needing a chair, a glass of water, and a very long emergency meeting.
For ordinary people, it sounds like financial freedom. For Wall Street, it sounds like a digital earthquake. And for the credit system, it raises a terrifying question: what happens when the numbers everyone obeys can be changed by someone behind a screen?
Because if debt can disappear overnight, then maybe the real chaos is not the hack.
Maybe it is realizing how fragile the system was all along.

Donald Trump comments made today about Iran. When asked whether Americans’ financial situation affected his decision-making on Iran, he reportedly said “not even a little bit” and that his focus was solely on preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

Over the next several days, this remark will be frequently repeated. You are likely to hear it throughout the midterm elections.
