Bro we had a debate last week in the barbershop about who is best all around player between JB and Tatum.....What's the correct answer????
What do you think?

Based off of stats I’d have to go with Tatum.

With that said, Brown should get more nods for MVP this season.

See that’s what confuses me. In the “Era vs Era” debate, all I hear is this Era by far has the most talent. But I also hear that there’s a bunch of bum ass teams in the league and there’s no need to add more.

Hell there were even people wanting the NBA to contract the lowly franchises and even out the teams lol.

This is a solid example from McGrady, good enough to change my mind:

The debate will go on forever and ever.
Because people "think" they are the same.

They are two different types of players so it is hard to say the best overall

Tatum
--better shooter from long range, but takes too many shots
--More finesse to the basket player(as his Idol Kobe) wants to go around you and finger roll it in
--Defense is top tier( can guard all five possitions at 6'10')
--is the celtics point guard at 6'10'
--has to be the #1 player on the team. like he said during the recovery " I am not coming back to be a roll player."
As he is pretty much the point guard and will dribble the ball down to 5 seconds before anybody else can see the ball.
--is 6'10' but refuses to post-up most of the time( again wants to be Kobe at the top of the key), he is 6'10" in body but 6'5" in his mind.

Brown
--more consistent shooter. That can get high number on less shots
--Aggressive to the basket player( wants to move you out the way like a running back) then dunk it.
--Defense is top tier( can guard quick and strong players)Being 6'7" with long arms.
--Does not mind being the 2nd guy on the team. but can take over the entire game if tatum is not on the court.
--Very average free-throw shooter( needs to work on this badly as he gets to the foul line so much) can't count on him hitting

both shots when it comes down to the last few minutes.

Like I said, there is no better than the other as:
--Both can score between 30 and 40 points every game
--Both play strong top-tier defense
--Both can take over a game and can't be stopped one-on-one

-
- if one goes down, the other can keep the team winning
at the top 2 team level( you can't get that from most teams.
Most teams lose their #1 they go down the drain. Celtics have 2 #1

We see it with the 76ers, Cavs, Heat, Bucks, Pacers, Spurs,Laker, Suns, Mavs( they lose their #1 and they turn to shit)
We will see how the Pistons play without Cade Cunningham( they already slid so much with him, they may slide to 3rd place without him)

Kobe killed his daughter, aint nobody thinking bout him dickeater.
get used to it. The Lakers are only winning because of the CACs on the Lakers.
Lebron is now a passenger this year.
You can't be the 4th option on your team(that is called a "roll player")........Lebron is just enjoying the ride with his seed.

#1 Luka
#2 Reaves
#3 Ayton

#4 Lebron( when he can play)

I was gonna give you credit on your good breakdown on Tatum and Brown, and then you say this sit.

“#3 Ayton”!

I said JB because he is a bucket and plays defense. Damn near can be first team all pro on offense and defense....

Tatum does have the upside in regards to scoring and he can literally play the 1-5.....I still give the edge somewhat to JB

Oooooh. The 41 year old who's the highest paid player on the team is being carried by two white boys who never won nothing. Luka has never even finished higher than a 5th seed in Dallas. What a stain on Bron's legacy. :roflmao:

Tatum averages more rebounds and assists, that’s why I gave it to him.

But after reading @Beeiii breakdown Tatum’s asked to play a different role “PG” so his assist numbers would naturally be higher.

So in short, I guess you can’t go wrong either way…

So now I don’t know, but

You better pray that Luka does not get hurt( of fat again)

Luka is the only thing keeping Bron healthy.

Bron does not even need to show up because of Luka's Play.

Lebron is "actually" luka's Nike fit backpack the way he carries him during games.......

I agree with you 1000%
The only difference is that Brown is willing to play the #2.... Tatum will not.

It is so crazy when you watch the games......
Tatum will bring the ball down every play and then decide if he wants to pass it or not

Brown is good with waiting at the corner 3 for a tatum pass.....then just run back on defense.

The best thing for Brown was to finally get some Tatum-less time to
show how good he is all around( scoring, passing, rebounding, and defense)
This has helped his confidence a ton

:lol::roflmao:

This is "exactly" why I say they are different.... and one is not better than the other one.
They play different roles.
People keep thinking..."why you have two small forward on the same team....that is not right"

"You need to get rid of one of them."....That is when I know people don't watch the celtics.

Tatum is like a Ben Simmons ( if he could play basketball)
Brown is like a bigger version of Spida
