If you're gonna be fucking around with Google Adwords and YouTube, you're gonna have to find a way to heavily restrict and block that content as well as racial and sexual slurs and other language that's regularly used on here.

Google AdWords is no longer. It’s now Google ads and is not based on content. More than likely HNIC would create a landing page for it with a link to the board

I suggest there should be 1 or 2 stickies reserved for porn theme threads and they should revolve once a week. For example.... slam, dj, finger, etc, one of their thread would be a sticky (one sticky each), at the end of the week, another 1or 2 poster/s would get the same.

From my perspective, this board has reached a point where it is unsustainable.
You can't have your NSFW intertwined with your sports, entertainment, politics etc.
It takes away any chance you have of financing the website.
I have a new plugin that will allow the @playahaitian @Gemini @Mask @Gemini 's
of the world to post content in the correct forum, but have the same thread appear in the main NSFW forum.
That will be cool until everyone feels confident that the Entertainment forum for example is able to sustain itself.
Just keeping it real the plugin does need some tweaks, but it will get the job done.
Like I told @Lexx Diamond all of the major big time platforms have a NSFW section.
Reddit, X.com, Google and Instagram all have NSFW content, but they just don't mixed the shit up.
They would lose all of their advertising revenue, but porn is a driver of traffic. That's why they do it.

We have all the appropriate areas for everything to be place. Make the sex forums, Hollywood, Producers Music Lounge and Tech support area login only to view. We can surely get it all done.

I agree, non paid members shouldn't have access to those things which are premium.
The reason I brought it up because of how the board looked. I tend to look at everything through a business / marketing lens. I actually started my cleaning business on BGOL back in the day, and I’ve been in marketing for over 20 years now, plus I run my own agency, so it’s kind of second nature for me to pay attention to certain things.
First off, I want to say the themed threads themselves aren’t a bad thing at all. The brothers that keep those going do a great job, and I check them too. Those threads definitely help keep activity on the board.
In a way, what makes the board great can also work against it sometimes. The same themed threads that keep the board alive can also make it harder for other posts to get seen when they keep getting bumped over and over.
I want to be clear, I’m not talking about this in a negative way toward anybody. You got posters like Slam, Fingers, Mask, Playa, and others that put in work on those threads. Them threads be on point, and people check them every day. That’s actually a strength of the board, not a weakness.
Unfortunately, the way it’s set up right now, all those bumps can kind of choke out new topics. When somebody makes a new post, it gets pushed down fast, and sometimes it never really gets a chance to breathe. For new users especially, if they come to the board and the first few pages are mostly the same threads by the same few people, it can make the board feel smaller than it really is. Most people not gonna go digging to page 4 or 5 just to see if there’s something else worth replying to, they just move on.
From a marketing standpoint, the other thing is the NSFW content. That’s a death blow to most revenue streams. When I set up marketing for businesses, I restrict content from showing on any sexual content. That’s very standard.
Honestly, I think those theme threads could actually be used in a stronger way. If stuff like that had its own dedicated forum or section, that would be a plus. People who want to see that content could go right to it anytime, and at the same time the main board would have more room for regular topics to stay visible longer. Plus that’s gives people a reason to pay.

Mainly the themed threads will need to be moved first. Those are the ones that are problematic when trying to advertise

The need to do this is understandable, it just may disrupt some conversations.
For example, let's say two female rappers have a beef, something x-rated might be relevant to the conversation, but moving the thread to a NSFW forum might kill the thread since a lot of people may not check that forum.
Would it be possible to tag a post as NSFW and force someone to log in to view the post? Would this set up still be unacceptable to advertisers?

Keep in mind I appreciate the feedback, so here are my questions
When you say themed threads, there are 2 types of theme threads.
You have the Sex Themed threads like

https://www.bgol.us/forum/threads/the-official-2025-and-beyond-wnba-season-womens-basketball-thread.1248913/We will have to move either the Adult NSFW content from the BGOL Main Board or Move the PG rated threads to the correct forum
I'm thinking it will be easier to move the PG rated content.
The Main Board has over 20 years worth of threads of woman with their ass split open.
Also if a Themed thread is moved, it still retains all of the members who watch the thread for new post.
I check my notifications and give feedback at least 2-3 times a day.
I'm not happy this is happening either but whatever you have to do HNIC, I support you brother.
That's a great idea, gotta have some protection from people that lurk on the board as guest or stumble upon this board randomly.

For the non-adult themed threads, like the sports thread you posted that got over 1,000 replies, those are the type of threads I think could go in the sports forum. That way they’re still active, still easy to find
I agree with you on the other part too. At this point it probably makes more sense for the current main board to stay NSFW, just because of the history and how the board has always been. Trying to move all that content now would probably be a bigger headache than it’s worth.
So moving the PG / non-adult themed threads to the correct forums might actually be the easier
This would solve the problem with content crowding.
