How to cook?

How to cook?
Season them up
braise them on both sides
remove from pot
add diced onions, green peppers, habeneros, onion powder, garlic powder, mexican oregano, thyme, allspice, beef boullion, sazon, and diced tomatoes and simmer till soft
spread them to the outer edges of the pot and put some brown sugar in the center
when the sugar turns foamy and browns a little
add soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, ketchup and 1 quart of chicken broth and stir
Add the oxtails that were set aside, add 1 more quart of chicken broth + enough water to cover everything
bring back to a boil then reduce heat real low and put lid on pot, simmer for 2 1/2 -3 hours
remove lid and let them simmer some more to thicken..... if I fuck up and make them too wet, I add some instant mash potatoes a little at a time to thicken them up, I like the gravy extra thick, so the rice doesn't get soggy soaking up the liquid... in the last five minutes I add the beans

:thumbsup:

WTF are you talking about? Do you even know how much they were paying him?
Many people don’t understand how businesses work. When you break down the time and start up cost, This situation doesn’t look promising for him, especially at his age.

A restaurant similar to Destination Steakhouse would cost between $500,000 to 1,000,000 upfront to open. Something smaller like a takeout counter cost about $150,000 to $500,000 to open. That’s not even getting into standard overhead.

Overhead cost;
Rent/Mortgage = $7,000 to $12,000 monthly
Worker’s compensation = $400 to $600 month
Payroll Bi-weekly = $10,000 to $15,000
Unemployment insurance = $1,200 to $1,800 a QTR.
Insurance = $500 to $1,500 monthly
Cooking equipment = $10,000 to $35,000

During training an owner would need to front the payroll for at least a month to get everyone trained. That’s about $30,000

That’s a lot of money and the margins for restaurants are already thin. Now I heard he would be trying to get a food truck with some one. But most food trucks cost about 150,000 to get started. So that is a lot of upfront cost.

He is such a character :lol: I am going to see him when he come to Atlanta. I been to Destination Smoke house but he was not there that day.

This is when we need black people in power. If we had a tv executive, he definitely needs a show. His GoFundMe ain’t even hit 70k which is a disappointment. Niggas on the internet be fake as shit..lol

I am speaking strictly business. I always advise brothas not to be put in these situations from lack of knowledge.

Always have your business in order so that you don’t have to do pop ups. He could literally sit home and made more money but he never had a revenue sharing agreement

There are million dollar and billion dollar companies even doing pop up’s, so it’s obvious a great revenue source if even big name companies is doing.. it’s just a modern/ new wave to do biz… cuts cost down, less labor intensive, and choose your own schedule, reaches out to a bigger consumer base.. also with these pop ups he can sell merch, take paid photos with fans, reach more consumers than ever b4… he can take advantage of his 15 mins while the iron is still hot

Mr. Tenderism would never clear a million dollars doing pop ups. We are not talking about corporate business with money backing them.

Never say never… I definitely think he could with the right team , merch, etc

The chop cheese dude was literally having thousands of people standing on line in some places.. they were selling chop cheese for like $20 or more a piece.. you do the math

Stop making sense.

Yup! I’ve funded plenty of restaurants, and with the right team and his hype, he would do well with his own spot. In one video in this thread, destination smokehouse had lines out the door because of Unc.

Folks would pay a premium for oxtail that jiggles, and Unc’s personality.
