5h ·President Donald Trump said a former White House physician told him he is “by far the healthiest” when compared with former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Trump made the remarks during a Hanukkah reception at the White House, referencing Dr. Ronny Jackson, who served as physician during parts of multiple administrations.
Jackson previously worked as White House doctor under both Obama and Trump, though Biden had a different physician during his presidency. Trump’s comments echo earlier public statements in which he claimed Jackson praised his health, though no independent confirmation accompanied the remarks at the time.
The statement arrives amid ongoing scrutiny of presidential health, particularly as Trump is the oldest person elected to the office. While recent medical updates from current White House physicians describe Trump as being in good overall health, representatives for Obama and Jackson did not immediately comment on the latest claim.
