J. cole is for the people and never acted like he was better than others even though he's a celeberity making more.

That;'s why you don't see many artist doing this in their hometown being in the hood because they be trying to show off instead of connecting with people that look like them or been through what they've been through because artist once upon of time were in that position as well before the fame. Like the saying goes "never forget where you came from"

It's a shame we still have crabs in a barrel mentality but never have that same energy for them CACs and others who deserve it.

Good people like J. cole should be getting more recognition and support that they deserve.

There's not many J. cole's out here which makes him a rare breed doing positive things.

Sadly, I don't think most will see the light at all.

These same niggas on Joe Buddens podcast were going crazy over Pooh Sheistys release song which was about the same I kill niggas trash he always raps about. Same trap trash music and boring mumble I’m so hard garbage

We can and need to NOT HIGHLIGHT THEM.

We NEED to highlight the positive acts the charity etc

Instead of always focusing on the negative.

We need to celebrate the fans that came out in peace and showed love and support.

THAT'S how we start real change.

There is a place for ignorance music trust I get that. I like it too.

but we need BALANCE

and you make a good point.

Until someone is shot? these so called black media outlets never criticize the over saturation of violence consistently. And they accept repetitive mediocre and then complain about all the music is trash but fail to REALLY highlight new positive music.

That's the reason why I posted all these postive clips showing J. Cole getting love regardless of what other's think of him or his haters.

Just gotta appreciate the ones who was there for you from the beginning which is more than enough of the ones who never show support but always have something negative to say.

I try my best to find good things about cole and just outright bypass the negative stuff by not posting them at all on here.

I'm doing my part as best as I can.

Change can happen when it's being passed around others to do the same.
