Walmart ripping you off on meat prices

I mean/ some of those were laughable....

None of those appeared to be 5 lbs.... like not even close.

It's one thing if the package said 2.8 lbs, but it was actually 2.6..... those were all listed as over 4.5 lbs and not one was 2.6, some were off bya full 3 lbs..... that's insane and no customer should be fooled visually by such a large discrepancy.

Wait till people find out when they ring their items sometimes you get overcharged on your grocery bill.. if you don’t calculate your grocery bill b4 checking out ull more than likely get screwed over.. another thing when you get that pre scan shit at Costco while on line, definitely make sure the price is right cause sometimes it doesn’t subtract the sale prices and will charge you regular prices.. I know this cause this happened at least twice to me but since I always calculate the total price in my head b4 checking out I knew the number was off and made the cashier switch my total price.. I no longer let them pre scan my shit cause of this… many grocery stores, retail places, will “accidentally “ overcharge you if you don’t calculate your bill

Last week I’m in heaven but yall call it Costco. They do the pre scan thing and at the end of it, I was double billed on an item. I had to stand there for about 2 minutes to get the refund.

Lately I've been buying more tofu than meat so they can't beat me out of the weight of tofu.
Yes, they can. Like @tallblacknyc said, the price at the register being different is a problem too. Retailers are already doing that dynamic pricing bullshit on their app vs in-store so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a lot of shit at Wal-Mart is different at the register than the price you see on the floor.

Not with tofu, though. Tofu is too basic to cheat.

Rain man bars

Walmart now has those digital price labels on the shelves.

They can change the price of what you just picked up off the shelf and raise it by the time you get to the cash register.

It’s best to take a picture of the price and double check at the register.

Walmart is shifting to digital prices across the chain's 2,300 stores. Here's why.

This shit should be illegal, they are gouging the public.

I think I asked this before, but I will ask it again.
Who in the fuck buys meat out of Walmart ?
Not even trying to be funny or bougie, but quality and freshness is something I would never associate with any of the meat there.

Bruh, I don't think you can grow titties from tofu....., however if that were possible a bunch of women would be getting tofu titties along with their Botox and their BBLs.

I been eating organic beef chicken and pork..shit i grew up on..taste big difference! Farm raised without all the injections..that campbells soup shit woke me...food taste great

All FACTS....I've been doing this for years and you can definitely taste the difference.....Figured if I can't go full vegan, might as well eat the top of the line meat and the price isn't that much different from the regular meat (if you know how to shop)

It's always fuck WALMART for me because of how they treat their employees, but I definitely would never buy meat from them.....

Man I doubt it’s scamming that shit might just be people in the meat department that don’t give a fuck  they be ranging me up on shit for the low.

We need government grocery stores

Shit is to damn high

Actually we need Community Co-Ops.

Why the Black community has not gotten this done by now is the million dollar question?…

What Is a Food Co-op?

A food co-op is a grocery store owned by folks in their community (and by you, if you choose).

Unlike corporate chains, food co-ops are totally independent and owned by the community members who shop there. So instead of focusing on investors, food co-ops focus on their community — nourishing everyone according to their budget and cooking style.

Co-op grocery stores are the place to find the best local food, because they know their local farmers and family business owners by name. And food co-ops are passionate about giving back to their communities. They believe that good food is just the beginning of what people can achieve by working together.

Here’s how it works:

Everyone is welcome to shop, eat and hang out at a food co-op. And everyone is welcome to join by becoming an owner. Co-op owners then get back financial rewards, as well as a vote to choose the board of directors and impact the co-op’s future direction.

While each food co-op is unique, they’re all working together toward the day when everyone has the delicious, healthy food they deserve!…

Hidden Gem if you ever in the Maryland area.

Been around for years (even before Whole Foods).

Shopped here for years

I mean if you want to avoid all this bullshit then go to the meat market where you're gonna get your money's worth and more for your buck with accurate prices that they will be transparent to show you.

My fam shop at walmart and don't care about their prices but they don't go there everyday to give ah fuck.

I mean shit is high which is why you have to be careful and price check everything before you buy it.

Food desserts, people on food stamps, senior citizens that's not trying to move around so much, naive customers that think big biz has their best interest, white people, people looking for deals... In some places this is all they have within miles so cause of this it becomes their main source of food
