$88 today. Not bad. They report next week. I’m considering 50 shares. They have boxing, WWE and most PPV going forward. If they win Warner Bros, that’s gives them the new Harry Potter series and movies, to say the least.
Im watching too. I'll sell a put prior to earnings.

the newest idea that i have been kinda researching and thinking about diversifying into are water etfs. water is projected to become scarce (it is now in certain parts of the world) in a few decades, largely in part to rising human population and climate change.

RKLB had a setback in testing.

Qualification testing of the Stage 1 tank overnight resulted in a rupture during a hydrostatic pressure trial. Testing failures are not uncommon during qualification testing. We intentionally test structures to their limits to validate structural integrity and safety margins to ensure the robust requirements for a successful launch can be comfortably met.

There was no significant damage to the test structure or facilities, the next Stage 1 tank is already in production, and Neutron’s development campaign continues while the team assesses today’s test outcome.

Why Who You Marry Matters More Than Your Stock Portfolio

In this video, I’m going to explore what I like to call the Partner Problem—why marriage is often the most significant financial decision people don’t think about as such. I’ll explain why divorce can actually lower your wealth by about seventy-seven percent (not fifty), why arguments about money are a leading reason for divorce, and how two couples with the same income can end up a whopping two point one million dollars apart after thirty years, all because of how well they get along financially. I’ll guide you through the four patterns that can quietly eat away at your wealth in relationships: income differences without matching spending, hidden expenses, the “we deserve it” cycle, and different financial views. And I’ll share the exact questions you should ask before combining your finances with someone. A person who spends a lot can actually make you poorer than someone who saves moderately. That’s not just my opinion; it’s a fact. Your partner will be more important to your overall financial health than your investment gains, your salary, or any financial choices you’ll ever make.

Intel reported a GAAP net loss of approximately $591 million to $600 million (about 12 cents per share), despite revenue exceeding expectations at $13.67 billion. This loss widened from the prior year's quarter, though adjusted earnings beat forecasts, and revenue fell slightly year-over-year due to factors like wafer supply constraints.

On the ER call, they mentioned that datacenter chip demand is at an ATH. However, the CEO mentioned that they mistimed demand: they allocated most of the silicon to the client side (eg laptops) and not the datacenter/server side. Now they're playing catch-up for the next quarter which is on the low end of guidance. Should be back to normal Q2+ (hopefully).

And unlike $AMD, their laptop and server CPUs use different architectures, so they can't quickly pivot silicon to satiate demand. All in all, someone is supplying/fulfilling this demand. And the only other x86 datacenter CPU game in town is $AMD.

Also, I bought some $INTC $50 strike puts (260130) yesterday for $1.20. And just exited for some decent online shopping money just in time for this winter storm.

Whats your overall thoughts on the company's future & CEO?

Whats your overall thoughts on the company's future & CEO?

Honestly, I don't know enough about the CEO to have opinion one way or the other. I will say that he tends gives very generic answers on the Q&A portion of the ER calls that don't address the questions asked, ha.

As far as company direction, seems like the strategy is to continue with what the previous CEO put in motion: become a leading fabricator with 14a silicon node to give $TSM some competition. Easier said than done. However, things are a bit more interesting since they have Capt. Orange and the US government backing them as well as investment from $NVDA & SoftBank. If they can get the advanced manufacturing going and at scale for outside clients, $INTC could do some numbers. But they aren't there yet.

When? It takes time to scale silicon to high volume production. The node they are banking on, 14a (1.4 nanometers), won't be until '27/'28 and that's barring any setbacks. It's gonna be tough since $TSM, $AMD, and $NVDA aren't going to be sitting still either.

If you can get $INTC cheap and willing to wait a few, I'd say go for it.

***Edit***

I try to avoid stock subreddits but this thread has some analysts thoughts.

For the last five years, seven stocks were the S&P 500. The Magnificent Seven didn’t just lead the market, they were the market. So it’s natural to assume that if those stocks slow down, the whole market is in trouble. The data now says something fascinating is happening. In this video we’ll look at what’s going on, when it has happened before and why it’s really good news for index investors.
