The Official 2025/2026 NBA Season - The New York Knicks Are The 2026 NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

The Value of 1st round picks has shifted & the cost of absorbing cap space has reached an all-time high.

I understand the reason for the shift, however it’s a clear over correction. Within a few seasons it’ll balance back out.

Think about it like this… fringe top 40 players are free. Look at the Trae young & Michael Porter JR trades. Now couple that with this thinking, the average team owns 4 tradable firsts & 3 tradable swaps. Reporting on the value of Giannis, a true 1A superstar states that he’s worth around 3 unprotected 1sts.

That would mean you could theoretically assembled 2 top 40 players + a top 5 player for the cost of 3 1st round picks?

Essentially any team with 4 tradable 1sts can build a contending team with a few simple moves.

A combination of Trae, MPJ, & Giannis. You’re telling me that’s not immediately winning 50+ games & threatening to beat anyone in the east?

I think there’s a serious over correction & I’m surprised more teams aren’t taking advantage of this. It feels like a great time to be a buyer. Don’t buy bridges for 6 1sts or Bane for 4. Find value and assemble talent. Find affordable wings that defend, & shoot. Steal primo talent off teams that failed to contend & had to move on from youngish stars. Save volume assets for that elite top 10 players.

MPJ -1 1st
Trae young 0 1sts
De’Aaron Fox 2 1sts
Kevin Durant 1 1st
Karl Anthony Towns 1 1st
Luka Doncic 1 1st (plus Davis)
Anthony Davis 1 1st (projected value)
Ja Morant 0 1sts (projected value)
Domantas Sabonis 0 1st (projected value)
Giannis 3 1sts (projected value)

I think the value of these players was shaken up by the 2nd apron. It’s a buyers market. Teams like the wizards will look very smart for buying extremely low. Similar to buying stocks at a dip or a home after the housing crash

Oklahoma City Thunder player Nikola Topić has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, general manager Sam Presti said.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Oct. 30, Presti revealed that Topić, 20, had a biopsy earlier this month that led to his diagnosis, and has since begun chemotherapy treatments.

"He had a testicular procedure at the very beginning of training camp," Presti told reporters, calling the procedure "necessary" for Topić's biopsy.

"The results of the biopsy have returned and he is dealing with a case of testicular cancer," Presti confirmed.

The Thunder's general manager said Topić has "a tremendous group of oncologists" working on his treatment, "and they are extremely positive about his outlook in dealing with this situation." Presti added that it's "important to note that testicular is the most cured form of cancer among males."

Presti said that Topić wanted to wait to share his diagnosis until after he started chemotherapy. "He didn't want to make this information public until he had begun the actual treatments, which he has recently," said the general manager.

Amid treatments, Topić has remained active. "He's been in here, he's training, he's working out," Presti shared, adding that the team is placing "no expectations" on their player to return to the court before he's ready. "

You’re talking shit now but you had no response for the FACTS I posted disproving the narrative on AD. If he gets hurt more often as he gets older, that doesn’t make what people said in the past correct retroactively.
I had plenty of reasons and I posted them, go check again! And like I said then and I’ll say it again; AD stays hurt!!!!! And players that stay hurt when they get older they get hurt more! And wow look at AD lol lol; but continue to believe that he ain’t injury prone….

Across 2019–20 through 2023–24 (regular season + playoffs): 317 of 437 games played → 72.54%.

Playoffs (2019–20 through 2023–24): 47 of 48 games → 97.92%.

That’s his last FIVE seasons with the Lakers! He played three out of every four games and only missed one playoff game during that time, which included a finals run!

I don’t care if he never plays again— that “stays hurt” narrative was overstated bullshit for a long time.

Fans on the internet lie but numbers don’t.

Stays hurt period !!

Anthony Davis has missed a significant portion of his NBA career due to numerous injuries, totaling over 200 regular season games missed across his career with recurring issues like ankle sprains, shoulder problems, groin strains, and foot injuries, with his most significant absences occurring in the 2020-21 (calf/Achilles), 2022-23 (MCL/ankle), and currently in the 2024-25 season (calf/groin/hand) with the Mavericks.
Key Injury Trends & Missed Games:
  • Recurring Issues: He's dealt with over 50 injuries, with groin and ankle problems being particularly common.
  • Peak Missed Seasons:
    • 2020-21 (Lakers): Missed 36+ games (calf/Achilles).
    • 2022-23 (Lakers): Missed 36+ games (MCL/ankle).
    • 2024-25 (Mavs): Battling calf, groin, and recent hand ligament damage, missing significant time.
  • Total Missed (Approx.): As of early 2025, he had missed over 230 regular season games.
  • Playoffs: Missed 1 game in the 2021 playoffs with a groin injury

Your dumb ass argument is flawed as usual! But hey go ask the mavs and their fans how they feel; i mean they love AD so much that they already are trying to trade him lol; i cant find any takers because of his age and injury history, go figure...

@DC_Dude remember when we were high on Peyton Watson.

Jokic’s usage rate is so crazy cuz look how these dudes do without him.

Look at MPJ and how he’s doing. I used to be pissed at MPJ too but I didn’t think about how that he wasn’t built for that role.

I’m not saying don’t play through Jokic. He’s your superstar. But Adelman is doing the same thing Malone did and not creating a gameplan or even a decent amount of plays to include players not named Jokic and Murray. MPJ complained about that in the bubble and he’s proving his point on the Nets.

You didn’t even acknowledge my argument, you just went and pulled up different data sets.

Over 5 years with the Lakers he played 3 out of 4 games and 47 out of 48 playoff games.

Will you acknowledge that it was bullshit for people to mock him as Mr. Glass and claim that he stayed hurt during that period of time? Or are you going to deflect because you can’t respond directly and honestly?

I’m not going to because it’s a moot point. There’s a reason why his nickname is street clothes…

Like I said, you couldn’t handle the facts before and you can’t now.

I gave you five years of recent history, regular season and playoffs. You responded with a nickname. :smh:

The reason his nickname is street clothes is that most people are stupid and the average fan is a white hater who is envious of these athletes, particularly in the NBA.

Damn I didn't realize that he was playing that well!

Steve is wrong about capitalism— it is a primitive, exploitative and corrosive system.

But he’s right about the negative impact it has on basketball. Only scratching the surface but correct in what he identifies.

Where is street clothes at right now? Where has he been since he’s been in Dallas? Oh wait let me answer, in street clothes…

I could nickname you “decomposing carcass,” be wrong for 50 years and then turn around and say “Where is decomposing carcass at right now? What has he been doing since he was buried?”

That’s what you are doing.

People were calling AD that name the entire time he was with the Lakers, playing the vast majority of games (three out of four) and 98% of playoff games! It was obviously wrong and you need to be honest and acknowledge reality.

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, decomposing carcass. I don’t know why you are so invested in spreading lies about that man. When you don’t know the facts you have an excuse but now you are willfully lying. :smh:

It is an issue with capitalism, because everything is about money. From the agents, handlers, parents....

These kids are going to a school every year, sometimes they transfer mid year and go to multiple with in the same year like Stokes. I don't even see how that's possible, but it's not about education or credits.

One reason they didn't like the straight to NBA for high school kids was because what if it doesn't work out.

Well, now some odd these kids aren't even getting a legit high school education, much less college.

They're building no roots and foundation for the future and it's 100% basketball, when the reality is a lot of these kids aren't going to make the NBA. So what if you get an injury? You barely have a high school degree, so what are you going to do the next 50 years?

You ain’t spewing nothing but senseless dumb shit as usual; you a geek stat weirdo nigga that’s behind a computer; we all know lol; there’s a reason why you get laughed at consistently about your points; because they’re not valid. But this is what we do know, street clothes is hurt again, fact…

This is going to squash that

Yeah bro he has been balling since Jokic has been out.
I agree Adelman needs to figure a better game plan for his players and figure out a way to get them all involved

Words to live by.
