I don't think they fire him without letting him try to get some more of "his guys" in first. They need speed and the right kind of DL to run his scheme (or any scheme) badly.

That said, I don't love the fact that this staff can't come up with a way to manufacture SOME pressure SOME of the time. It makes no sense to me. Even the worse teams find a way to hit the opposing QB a few times a game goddamit.
 
We need a defensive stop on the first Packers drive after the half. Shit is ugly, and I can live with that, but this game will get embarrassing if the defense doesn't wake up. Offense too.

Agreed. Firing the man because he doesn't look good when he doesn't have the talent he needs to look good would be knee-jerk and a mistake. The frustration of watching this shitty defense is understandable. Not easy for any Bears fan to endure it.

As a Seahawk fan I was rooting for the Packers because I don't want to see the Rams or 49rs yet. But, shit, the way Green Bay whooped up on the Bears in the first half I don't think I want to see them either.
