If NFL owners didn't care about people coming to their games they wouldn't have large stadiums.. they would just put them on a field in the middle of nowhere and have them play.. tix, merch, parking, food, and sponsorship at stadiums is big money.. remember every team don't make The same revenue.. there's a reason they had them people back in seats during COVID.. browns situation is different cause it's obvious sabotage on a player fans like.. imagine the backlash Detroit would've got if they benched barry sanders or gave him limited carries.. fans definitely would've fell back and I definitely could see less people watching lions game during Thanksgiving if barry wasn't playing.. I'm not calling sheuder barry talent wise but I can definitely see he has a large following in Cleveland
yeah, it's gonna be interesting when the off-season comes.
I'm gonna be watching that Cleveland situation with shedeur closely which will be big news regardless. I just hope they do right by him.
As far as lions goes, they need to make changes and clearly their coach isn't cutting it once they've lost their OC which has drowned the team even further. I do think they're a good team but just need the right coach and OC to get over the hump. So, therefore it'll be an interesting off-season for them as well.
These owners are greedy, making plenty of money to want stadiums to be indoors while continuing to increase their prices with concessions. All I was trying to say is that these fans will go to games regardless and owners know that. But then again the front office gotta make these moves to realize changes need to happen to improve the team.
Lions finally had back to back winning seasons for a few yrs for the first time in a min so dude actually uplifted that squad from shit… taking it to the next level is something that team never experienced.. even though the team not going to the playoffs, the fact they had back to back double digit win seasons and 2 division titles pretty much might give him another chance.. to fire him cause 1 season they didn’t go is kinda drastic.. definitely think he stays.. now if he fuck up again well than he might be on the hot seat
The lions keeping him for 1 more season would be dumb in my opinion because I don't see him changing his ways next season. But finding a good OC might save his job. But lets not forget that the lions had a lot of success because of ben Johnson and not campbell because once Johnson left to become a HC the lions went nosedived even with campbell becoing a playcaller.
Whose out there that can guarantee them 14 or more wins and deep playoff games.. this is literally what you have to be looking for cause dude already got them 14 wins and the playoffs.. he just didn’t take them to the superbowl.. anything less would be a useless firing plus you still gotta pay him cause his money guaranteed.. remember jets is paying like 5 coaches and they still losing
I guess they seem to focus on the team record instead of the coach itself because it's been proven he can't do well without his OC because it was talked about the most about how the lions were gonna bounce back after losing multiple coordinators at the time because it really made them weak. So, it's not campbell strengths to be a playcaller because not every coach is good at it which is why they have good OC to do that work for them while the HC can focus on managing the game.

I think Campbell is a good coach but I think he goes with his instinct a little too much. Ben Johnson always had a play ready for when he decided to go for it on fourth down and the offense had been relatively the last few years so there's that. Coach will need to make some adjustments in the offseason
Fans are stupid..I hate ungrateful people about what he "should" get them. If he got them some gift certificates to burger king thats one thing but these aint cheap.
