This MF right here!
Finally

This season left me with so many questions.

I thought the Fight of the Invincibles was pretty interesting, but could have been longer. But after seeing Conquest and how that fight went, it put things into perspective. Had to hurry up and get that out of the way.

What was up with Mark's clothes melting after Atom Eve used her powers to remove them and fold them on the side of the bed?

And why did Omni man and the Alien storyline just totally get ignored the last ....2 or 3 episodes? Where did they go after that big fight?

Atom Eve is the Phoenix now and can regenerate herself now? How about other people? Can she speed up Mark's healing?

Why didn't Cecil actually talk to Mark and tell him how similar their paths were?.......

I think season 1 was still the best, then 2 and then 3.....

but that Conquest fight and F.o.I.s was better than Mark vs Omni-man..... OM was playing with him and not really trying to kill him, just hurt him and bend Mark to his will......

The answer for that is coming really soon. I spoiled it for myself reading wiki's on characters. I'm still catching up on the comics but the wiki spoiled that for me

As for the other question on Atom Eve, she can't control organic matter voluntarily. She explained it to Mark when he woke up and it was also explained in the Atom Eve one-off special. She has mental locks that prevent her from accessing that power but under extreme duress/trauma she's able to bypass them and that instance of her nearly dying was enough of a trigger to bypass those blocks.

I caught that part about the mental locks, however it still leaves so many questions. How far can her powers really go when she's "unrestrained." And why were those clothes melting?!!

The clothes melting is for a different reason that will be unveiled very soon. I don't wanna spoil it for anyone else. I'm upset at myself for looking at wikis cuz it spoiled it for me but I'm still looking forward to catching up on it in the comics and show.

Ok, gotcha.....

on the FAN Bros podcast they said the comics have a finite end, and thus so does the series. They often compared each episode to.its comics counterpart.

Apparently Kirkman wrote the comics damn near out of college so to revisit them 20 yrs later there are things that have been improved upon/ changed but relatively speaking they said it was like 80% just like the comics which is pretty impressive

One of the things that's impressed me was how they have changed a few details in interesting ways. I believe that a lot of it was in the interest of speeding some of the plot along, but some of it just narratively fit.

I think the biggest change was
revealing that Omni Man killed the Guardians in episode one. In the comics, that information comes later. But dropping it where they did allowed for the first episode to end on an amazingly chaotic note, and also gave us more time to process what Omni-Man did and why.

I just finished up this season, and it was crazy. That was a lot to throw into just eight episodes, but they did make it work for the most part. I get some people being annoyed by how Mark and the heroes do seem to lose more than they win, but I'm hoping they reach a point where that doesn't continue as a thing. (Hope springs eternal, but I already from the few limited spoilers I've stumbled across that this may be a false dream.)
