Head coaching matters for sure. Look at all the best quarterbacks in the league. Allen, Mahomes, Stafford….that shit matters. Hell look at Caleb Williams this year compared to with Eberflus. Look at Jayden Daniels this year vs last. Look at Stroud.
Fields sucks for sure but he’d look completely different if he had a better foundation to his career.
