I know I’m gonna catch some heat for saying this, but Marjorie Taylor Greene has been pretty otiose since she got elected. Still, can you imagine her and a couple of her crew throwing a monkey wrench into today’s vote and actually siding with the Democrats to block the government from reopening? That would be wild.


I heard Karen Hunter use the word “Otiose” on Friday’s show, and I couldn’t resist trying to incorporate it into a sentence. It was a new word for me, and I was curious to see how it would sound in context.

Even if those other people are implicated, if Trump is guilty and removed Vance will still become VP. You would have to remove Vance too for that not to happen. Vance, AFAIK, hasn't been implicated in anything besides fucking couches.

I believe that is what he is saying. This is setting up to remove Orange and put Vance in as president. I believe he is also saying how other high power wealthy individuals will not be implicated which we all know there are hundreds of others (at least that's how I understood it).

Maybe. Trump is Teflon in many ways. But if he's at all guilty of this, he should be removed Vance notwithstanding. That said, Trump definitely has more cover and power than anyone else that would be implicated, so if they can touch him, they'll definitely be able to touch anyone else on that list.

I guess what I take issue with in that post is the suggestion this is only being done to remove Trump rather than getting to everyone involved.

We'll if the dems were to win back the house and Trump is impeached and convicted for Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Trump, JD, and the whole crew are out of here and the speaker of the House will become president.
