Damn...never thought of this. You bring up a good point. Lotta these athletes really be going thru it. Especially with social media, sports media, fans, having to perform at a high level on the field, and last but not least their personal lives (baby mamas, greedy family/friends, bills, etc.)

Also, howie traded a 3rd for phillips which most teams in the league wouldn't do taking that kind of risk.
Besides howie got plenty of valuable picks to use in the 2026 draft especially with him being able to find young talent regardless of where those picks are at.
Some teams like yours and others would need that 5th pick more than the eagles do.
But when you got a GM who drafts well finding talent that it isn't a big deal not getting a lower pick in return.
Well when you got a good D-line that helps your CB not have to do all the work knowing they don't have some good ones but then again, it's not like jaire was gonna help do something for the team anyway and I even said when howie first made that move it was for depth because he wasn't gonna hardly be playing in philly regardless.
