Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Colts throwing away their future for Danny Dimes to choke in the plsyoffs like Sam Darnold did last year.

Mofos giving up 2 first rounders, gonna give Dimes a megadeal, Jonathan Taylor contract is done next year so he will be asking for extra $, The gaurd Nelson getting paid big, plus sauce lol.

Teams need them 1st round rookie contracts to get productive players on cheaper deals.
Good thing howie never had to trade his 1st round picks because he knows how to draft well. But them early round picks are valuable and shouldn't be traded but most GM 's in the league are desperate and too green to see it trading for a big name player they think can help the team right now.

Well in their defense them picks ain’t gonna get a franchise qb anyway. They are looking like a team picking in the 30s

Rams traded their 1st round pick for 7 years straight and won a SB doing it.

And he literally traded a 1st rounder for AJ Brown. Yea, your Eagles traded a 1st rounder for AJ Brown because he passed up Justin Jefferson for Jalen Reagor and DK Metcslf for JJ Artega Whiteside.

But it is what it is.

Difference is the Rams have a great Head Coach, coaching staff, and Scouts who can find great players in the later rounds who fit their scheme and can develop.

When McVay took over the rams after 3 yards and a cloud of dust Jeff Fisher got fired, he turned that team into a contender in 1 season and made Goff look capable after a terrible rookie year.

You are 100 percent correct. My point was everything works different for everyone. What works for the Rams may not work for the Colts. Colts don’t draft as well as other teams on defense so you in win now to get Sauce.

Trying to emulate McVey or Howie is gonna have you being the Jags or Browns.

I'm talking about this year, howie will only trade a 1st pick that makes sense for a player that's great.

I wouldn't have been mad at howie trading multiple 1st for a player like myles garrett.

Yes, howie past trades were useful when he traded those 1st picks for aj brown to make up for it not drafting Justin jefferson but regardless it's a risk drafting these players because you don't know if they're gonna be good or not.

But these players today want a lot of money which most top teams don't have the cap space to sign them which is why they need to draft well for some young talent.

Yep it’s a risk for sure. And Colts look like a good team. So they gonna have some bad picks. I wouldn’t have traded they much for Sauce but chances are those picks aren’t gonna be as good as Sauce. Win now because you don’t know what next year will bring. Bengals ain’t sniffed the SB since they first went. Should’ve went all in.

Well scroll up on this board, some people don't think sauce is good.

it doesn't guarantee anything if the bengals went all in because it's a lot of factors for the reason why they've failed.

Call me a homer if you want but Bo Nix being missing from anybody’s top 10 makes their list unserious.

Bo hasn't been consistent enough to be in the Top 10. He's definitely got the clutch gene and can win you games in the 4th quarter, but we need him to be consistent through the whole game. It's his second year. He'll figure it out.

You take advantage of your championship window. Bengals had Chase and Higgins on rookie deals and were being cheap. Now Burrow stay hurt and never got him proper protection.

Sauce is a good corner on a bad team. Hes a 2 time All Pro just like Micah is. Hes struggling this season we but guys do that on bad teams. Jaylen Ramsey was the same way before Rams trade for him.

Sauce a baller and is gonna balk if throw away his Jets tape.

I gave the colts props for getting sauce because I do indeed think he's a good player and could help them with a change of scenery.

Bengals got some problems over there that needs to be fixed through the draft and free agency and the deadline quick fix wasn't gonna change nothing for them because they need a whole off-seaon to make moves by signing, trading and drafting the right players. Good luck with that.

That’s dumbass Sean Payton handcuffing him and Bo still getting shit done while playing “Payton ball”. I’m taking Nix over Love right the fuck now.
