The 7 best police procedurals of all time
There’s more to cops and robbers than just nabbing the bad guy at the end of the show

I love how they're playing into J Edgar aka Jamie Hector's Haitian heritage. He's using Haitian Creole at times, and later on in the season he said his mother's brother was killed and he used the last name Hector, his own surname.Right on, G.
It's definitely a very consistent show. Glad we're at the same point and it's nice knowing we still have a few more seasons to go, plus the additional spinoffs as well. Lots of material.

I'm on season 6 episode 2 and J Edgar is speaking with someone who says, "You look like you need a drink"
I love the way they have J Edgar just looking exasperated and rolling his eyes like yeah bro you think, without saying a single word. That type of nonverbal communication is beautiful in the show.
I love this show
Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost
Another great warts and all documentary. A very funny couple who's act was also their lives for the most part. Thanks to their children Ben and Amy for letting us see something very personal
It's funny because this documentary struck a memory in me about my grandfather who would get so excited if i was in a play or was involved in anything that had to do with Hollywood or entertainment and he was encouraging and supportive and then some and Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara remind me so much of him

I'm absolutely horrible at recognizing nonverbal communication, I mean Dr Sheldon Cooper type horrible. And sarcasm? Nope. I might have a touch of the tism, Asperger's or something, but I've never been diagnosed. Unless it's blatant, I miss it, like goes completely over my head miss it.Thanks for the intel. Gonna watch for that and finish season 5 in the next few days. Gonna start season 6 with pops next week.
That’s cool re: nonverbal communication. Cool side note - I did a term assignment on that very topic back in college in the early -2000s in psych / health care!
That’s one of the things I like best about the job. Picking up on the nonverbal / body language, etc.
October tv show releases for me
1. Splinter Cell: Deathwatch (season 1) Netflix
2. Rulers of Fortune (season 1) Netflix
3. Amsterdam Empire (season 1) Netflix

You get me a book, I can read it, but people? I've got no fucking clue. I don't even know what I'm looking for most times and it's impossible to explain, you just got to know.
Any time I get it right I'm just guessing, so life's like a shell game for me and dealing with people. I just close my eyes and pick one of the three

I saw the trailer and it’s being promoted on Disney+ home page.
It looks interesting, but I’m trying my best not to get sucked into new stuff.
A lot of series ended this year and I got a number of ongoing series ending next year.
I’m being choosy in what to get into to going forward.
