I don't know about fish and spaghetti but i know sugar damn sure doesn't gomaith grits.

I grew uo in E.O. Jersey in the mid to late '70 in a partially Italian neighborhood, Then I moved to TN in '87 and they tried to serve me Fried Fish and spaghetti and sometime it was chilled spaghetti... I was appalled , I've been in TN every since and still have not caught on....But to each his/her own...
