Just saw they’re bringing back the Phillies coach for next season
They aren't winning shit next year.

I hope the fans stop going to games but it won't ever happen since these dumb ass fans don't care.

I won't be watching hardly any Phillies games next year. It's a waste when they can't do shit in the playoffs.

Don't want to see him leave, I hope Hoyer can keep him.

I'm not a Cubs fan, I'm a White Sox fan, so I don't care one way or the other, but he's WAY overrated for the money he's looking for. I live in Houston and I've seen his entire career, and what he is is an outstanding second or third bat in a great lineup. It's a lot easier to put up those big numbers he's had when he's been in a lineup with Jose Altuve, Jeremy Pena, Alex Bregman, and hitting directly in front of Yordan Alvarez who when healthy frightens pitching staffs, leaving Kyle with plenty of good pitches to feast on. But it's a lot harder to put up those numbers when all the lights are on you. When you're expected to be The Guy, the bell cow, the lead dog, the centerpiece of the lineup.

If he can be had for $375-400 million, he'd be great to keep. But If he's insisting on $500 million or more, the Cubs would be a lot better off letting him go and using that money on getting a couple of top-of-the line starters, or getting a stud starter and a reliable closer. With Justin Steele coming back plus a major upgrade to your pitching staff, the Cubs can be truly lethal next year. Just my opinion as a non Cubs-hating Sox fan.

Cubs have a lot of young talent at the moment, Tucker, PCA, Swanson, maybe Ballesteros will be ready next year. Pitching situaion will likely be dictated around what they so with Imanaga and Horton. I would love to see them go after Cease or Valdez but i feel thay highly unlikely, as well as a top tier closer. As much as I would like to see Tucker stay, preferably on something ahort term, may 3-4 years at a discounted rate to make another run, I feel thats also unlikely. Hoyer got his work cut out for him, the Cubs are legit now and fans will expect them back in thr playoffs next year.

@DJ Phillies looking to steal Kyle Tucker from your cubs.

Laugh now, cry later..

You better hope this doesn't happen .

Its been said before the season ended,
Hes gonna be looking for 500 mil plus.
Know he aint gonna be cheap.

I'm wondering who's gonna pay him $500 million?

Phillies can offer him $400 million.

He's gonna be expensive and players always leave for more money.

I hope the Phillies get him..
I think hes gonna have a lot of teams after him; I think the Dodgers really want him also! Hes gonna get close to 500 mill; Vlad just got 500 mill and I think hes better and will age better than Vlad...

Are the other pitchers better or better lately than Ohtani?
Yes and no; I just think they want to get Ohtani going as a hitter! And the Dodgers have 3 other good starters they go throw out there...

Yeah, at least he won't command a salary like Juan Soto but he's a gonna be expensive regardless looking to get close to $500 million.
