2025 Chicago Bears Season Thread

With a young core and veteran leadership under head coach Ben Johnson, the Bears' 2025 season is underway. Step inside the home of defensive lineman Grady Jarrett as he shares how he hopes to make a lasting impact in Chicago. Then, head to Soldier Field for the home opener against the Vikings, where the 1985 Super Bowl champions are honored at halftime. Then, go behind the scenes with exclusive mic’d up moments and access as the Bears take on the Lions, Cowboys and Raiders. All this and more in the Bears' exclusive docuseries, 1920 Football Drive.

Yeah, says a lot.

Shit, I didn't know Velus was still in the league...granted, barely. He got waived by the Saints and put back on their practice team.
Somebody above and on the ground prays for Velus, because he’s been in the league long enough now to be vested; that’s what we gotta call Poles, “The Pension Maker” or “Pension Poles” because he drafts dudes 1-4 who have no business staying in the league past three years and yet most of them do and hence will get some money in their older years.

Good luck tonight from Pope Gooch.......

......Im required by contract to pray for the poor.

We're catching a BIG break not having to see Terry McLaurin tonight. But, their running game worries me. I've given up hoping for a decent pass rush, but they have got to stop the run tonight.

Has Devin Duvernay had a decent kick return yet this year? He’s doing little to flip the field.
