I agree, dickhead should be written on his forehead.

I dont know if its panic; it seems like when he got the ball he seen dude running home and he was like o shit let me get the runner out! not sure if it is panic or it was just his eye site and saying wait let me stop what i see...
Two outs. The very second that ball was hit, the runner on 3rd was on his way home.
(Unlike the batter, who has to: Complete his swing, drop the bat AND make it 90 feet away.)

Even the catcher pointed towards 1st base, but Kerkering threw to home instead. (If you call a ball five feet away from the plate "home").

If that's not panic, I don't know what is.

Pitcher said himself he felt like it was an easier throw home than to 1st base. It was gonna be a force out no matter where he threw; I believe the pitcher when he said that about throwing home; he made a bad throw because he rushed it; just unfortunate for the Phillies...

Man you gotta know that he was just being a good teammate by not throwing his pitcher under the bus in a city like Philly.

But the reality is that the panic/not panic belief is all subjective at the end of the day. :dunno:

edit: i thought the catcher said this. Fuck what the pitcher thought.

That nigga panicked. :D

I said the pitcher, who made the throw, said that!! The one you is saying panicked is the one who said he felt like it was an easier throw!! so again im siding with the player who actually made the throw; he rushed his throw for sure but I believe that was because of his eye site! Again im not sure he panicked, just rushed everything because of how the ball hit off his foot...

Bro, read my post. I first misread that it was the catcher saying the pitcher made the correct decision.

I then realized that I made a mistake and corrected myself. Then made a joke.

If you believe he made the right throw, fine. I'm not here to correct you.

I'm here to disagree, keep it lite and keep it moving.

Im not saying he made the right throw or not! im just saying what he said he did; and i believe him in what he is saying! im also stating that he rushed his throw home and thats why it was off...

I keep watching the replay of that play over and over; i think he was always gonna throw it home; he never takes his eyes of home plate; i think he had his mind already made up to go to home; he had trouble fielding the ball because he was looking at home plate; then when he got the ball he seen the runner come home fast and rush his throw; i dont think he was ever going to throw to first...
