Shock mayne. The human body will do some amazing shit with hormones and adrenaline when major trauma happens.

I have 4 pins and a plate from when I had reconstructive surgery on my left knee to repair a shattered tibial plateau. I've gone back n forth over whether I want to have them removed or not. I currently get random throbbing knee pain after simple tasks like leaning over to tie shoe laces . Just not a fan of having too many surgeries and therapyHad an injury like that back in 2000 with my leg dangling. Had to have emergency surgery for a fractured femur, they had to screw and pin it back in place.
Once the femur healed Had the pins removed then therapy for a month to get some range of motion back then had ACL reconstruction and MCL repaired
2004 they had to go in and take a screw out that was bothering my knee. Kept the screw as a souvenir.
25 years later my knee rarely bothers me but when it does that bitch hurts.
I would add shifting to the different hash marks
This is why I shy away from Bengals receivers in fantasy football.
The one screw that got removed was giving me horrible pain when I walked up stairs or bent my knee.
The surgery to remove the screw was a breeze. They cut threw the original incision site. The pain was very minimal, I walked out the hospital and was normal within a week. Getting a root canal or tooth pull is worse.
At least go to the Dr and let them xray and examine the hardware sites. My Dr looked at mines and pressed on it and was like I need to remove it asap.
I'll check my insurance to see what's covered. I'd prefer to not have arthritic pains while not actually having arthritis
