To be fair the steal was clean, Colier's momentum made her run into Alyssa at a bad angle.

From the coach's POV it looked like it was a lotta contact. Especially being that after the steal the first thing that she sees is her player on the ground murdered. :(

But watching the reply tells a different story.

Minny is a finesse team... Phee plays out of position at the 4 at 6'1 & 180... She's a natural 3 with Guard skills...
They need Size and some dogs to put around Phee....

Minny should have never traded the 7th pick (Angel Reece) for the 8th (Alissa Pili, who they already cut...)

If I was Minny I would trade the 2026 Draft pick 2nd... back to Chi for Reece...

The WNBA refs are like NBA refs, they’re all on bullshit and don’t know the game of basketball.

Basketball’s an emotional sport and talking shit competitively is a part of the game.



In short, no tech was needed to be called.
