They witnessed a similar split between their team and the 2019 fourth-round pick just a few years ago.
Per KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, Gardner-Johnson became "a locker room issue" after expressing criticism of his teammates in the secondary. Wilson elaborated on that point, adding that Gardner-Johnson wore out his welcome through "criticism of teammates in the secondary, including the size of one player’s contract, complaints about his role, including a desire to blitz more frequently, and a trade request along with him making frequent comparisons to what he was accustomed to with the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl championship squad."

Lot of people are not gonna get this.. technically the stadium for the giants/jets is located in nj.. Bills stadium located in Buffalo, New York.. so when they made that comment they are jokingly and technically right
