They should/could be 1-2/2-1. Making the playoffs is really not an option with Fields out. They need draft capital so they can start improving by mid next season.

They literally make the playoffs everytime Dak plays. A qb is more valuable then a edge rusher. Howie valued Jalen Hurts over Hassan Reddick. Howie gets it.

Making the playoffs don't mean a person deserves to be paid the most money.
No way nobody would be saying that shit about hurts because they would say he's overpaid and didn't win the SB.

The QB market got screwed over when Tua, Love and Lawrence got 50 million.
Should Dak be the highest paid? No. Should he be paid 5 million more than Tua? For sure. Qb market just got out of whack.
You pay the QB and worry about the rest later. The league has shown you can win with good edge rushers.

If a team doesn't have a good QB, it doesn't matter how good the defense is because you need a QB who is smart on making the right plays being a leader on their team to have any chance of success in the NFL.
QB is as much valuable as having a edge rusher.
Lamar and Josh while great QB's the rest of their parts surrounding them are average at best which is why they haven't went to the SB yet and are only good for regular season games.
I don't like the fact unproven QB's are getting paid way more money than the QB's who deserve their salary.
I'm not gonna speak on Lamar but Allen has a passer rating of 101.7 with 3,359 yards, 25 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 13 games in the playoffs in his career.
His defense and coaching let him down. He shows up in the playoffs.

Qb is the toughest position to play in the league. They deserve what they get. I will never knock them. At the end of the day it’s up to the GM to put the right pieces around them regardless of their salary. Lamar has great talent around him. Ravens might have the most talent in the league. Josh? Not so much.
