2025 Chicago Bears Season Thread

Maybe a hot take, but I’m put in Allen Robinson over Brandon Marshall. Marshall was great but had way too many drops for a WR1 of his caliber. Robinson did not have this issue.

Fair argument fam. Robinson was definitely clutch. Among our top guys, no one is head and shoulders above anyone else, so I can't argue about anyone else's choice for # 1. I went with Marshall at #1 because of his close connection with Cutler.

Folks sleep on the Curtis Conway/Jeff Graham duo from the Wanny era.

That's one thing. We only get a two or three year window of good play before they're traded or fall off. The years of Matt Forte where we draft someone and they spend five plus years here have been gone for the past decade. They aren't even getting to second contracts. It shows the way we've only had one winning season the past decade.

I was talking to someone and saying Bears fans know better than to get a player jersey of a current player.

Look at Raquon and Khalil and it's annoying as hell how they went on to have pro bowl years with other teams.

It's just a feeling of hopelessness brother. God forbid we have another year like last year in terms of wins and losses and they decide to buy out Ryan Poles' contract and move on. Does anybody in this thread think that this organization will make the right decision on his replacement?

The only ray of hope I have now is that things seem to be operating at a higher level with Kevin Warren at the top, yet he's a business executive and not a true football man. I'm trying to see light at the end of the tunnel, but it's tough to do.

I think we need to get them in the first half, Eberflus' has been pretty good at second half adjustments defensively

Amazing considering how much we're paying our defense :smh:

Edmunds Sweat has to be the most overpaid player in the league
Respectful, IMHO, correction to your point made by me.

Is it just me or does a majority of this back 7 tackle way too high?

Darnell Wright has two penalties already

back to second and long :smh:

Poles has been garbage. There's no way Wright should get a second contract.

Caleb is learning sometimes the easy and simple play can end up being the big play
Yep.

Although his reaction said otherwise, I think that at his feet pass to Zaccheaus might have been Caleb saving that from being blown up.
