That won't help you against viruses. That just blocks ads. When you install the software, you install the malware also and then it's game over. Good antivirus software will help, but a real virus will try to disable it.

Every computer usually have malware already installed and depending on where you get the cracked software from, you definitely want to block ads which would prevent a virus form affecting your computer from ADS.

You could run all you crack software on a virtual machine. You can disable the network on VMs and run all kind of cracked software.

He is not referring to the Ads or the risk of getting your browser hijacked, he is talking about the actual software you download. A lot of them will run the program BUT will also run a backdoor trojain and let anyone get in to access your shit

I know that but the same can happen from ads as well since a lot of the shit we download with all these popups can get into your shit as well. All I was trying to say is no matter what make sure your PC is protected whether you're downloading anything cracked.

You can always just set firewall rules as well for any potential backdoor trojan concerns. I only have a few things that are allowed to even "look" at an online connection on my machine (although they WILL try).
