2025 Chicago Bears Season Thread

Goddamn known Bears killer Aaron Jones does it again.

Man DJ got rocked glad he’s walking off but might not know what city he’s in.

Might as well have just kicked the onside kick that’s the ball game.

Hate to put a loss on one player but, Caleb missed some key throws. The Caleb to DJ connection needs to be tuned up.

Lots of room for improvement and its a new system...
Too many short drives in the second half and the defense ran out of steam.

I feel like there were plays to be made by Caleb at times that we really needed. Dude is too loose with shit sometimes. If he can't make the plays that are there to be made we're gonna continue to look stank.

That said, all 3 phases had their lowlights tonight. But Caleb and Brisker are on my shit list until further notice. The film will not be kind to them this week.

It's the layup passes he be missing, he had Odunze early in the game but didn't see it. The one to Kmet that he missed and the one that bothered me the most was when he had DJ wide open and the pass wasn't even close.. Smh! It all starts with the QB and if he continues to look like this, we fucked!

I counted Caleb missing on 6 throws, thats too many in a game.
He looked good on his checkdowns and progressions but overall he has to improve.

Bears lacked of depth talent on the defensive side of the ball came into fruition in the 4th qtr
Smart for O'Connell for not giving up on the run to help, his young qb

This team has got to find a way to run the football, and I mean soon.

And Is it too early to say that Caleb simply is what he is, and what you see is what you're going to get? Because this downfield accuracy problem just isn't going away. I know it's still early in his development with a new coach, but some things you have or you don't, and if we've got a quarterback who can't hit on passes longer than twenty yards, we're cooked.

Caleb looks good at times, but then he'll miss the easy pass. Does he over think? This is why Poles should have had QB's actually workout for the number one spot and not just depend on film and his scouting. I'm like did he have accuracy issues at Oklahoma and USC or is the game still too fast for him?

Hard to blame Ben when it's his first game.

Ben Johnson should have had Santos kick it out of bounds if we have a kicker who can't kick it out the endzone. He also had that bad challenge.

Guess what happen, Baltimore had pulled ahead of us for most blown 10+ fourth quarter leads on Sunday....we came back and tied them :smh:

Without TJ and Jaylon it was going to be hard regardless. Then we didn't have our nickel corner in Kyler.
