I don't think the set up is the best way to compare eras.
And these aren't the line-ups I would choose. I don't think they are even at all (thus my comment about KD).
But I do think it would be fun to watch and I'd be curious to see how it would turn out.
So why compare anything, atheletes, rappers, actors, movies? We can't compare Lebron & Steph's careers since they played different positions. Every era of every profession is different. It's just a fun conversation to have but no one has to engage if they don't want to.
Go get Drummond Lebron. We could use a big body.
The main issue for me about comparing eras is the types of basketball thats being played! someone posted a few weeks ago a magic johnson charity game; had Larry and Charles and Karl and Dominique etc etc playing in the game; and the passing and pace was just ridiculous; very fast pace game and thats what the 80s was; they wasnt interested in standing in the corner shooting 3s or pulling shooting 3s are that type of shit! thats the game today or most of what the game is; im happy OKC doesnt play like that by the way! but anyways how do you pick 3 greats from that era and then try to compare and say who you got from this era?? it makes no sense...
You compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges; hip hop for example, now isnt comparable to the 90s hip hop; there are artist that can be compared and compete with 90s era; but the overall artistry of hip hop isnt comparable; again its not about comparing; its about making comparable sense; stop with bullshit of trying to compare eras in sports when the games are completely different and not played the same...

Yes you can and wont get nowhere!! its a waste of time but I understand why people do it! to me, great players are great! at that should be appreciated and enjoyed for that time and moment! everything doesnt need to be made a comparison or competition...

You want to credit the Draymond green of the situation.
You think he made Draymond and Klay but the reality is that if he was not fortunate enough to have those two teammates, he wouldn’t be in the top 5 conversation.
Yes, he made them better too. They all complimented one another. The statistic I posted is proof of how much Draymond allowed Steph to elevate his performance.

But Steph doesnt evolve around Green or Thompson; they evolve around him!! Those stats are because Kerr is an idiot!! I didn’t say anything about winning— “the greatest shooter ever” doesn’t shoot as well without Draymond. So obviously Draymond is a a big factor in Curry’s individual success.
Anyone is going to play better with better players around them; thats a captain obvious statement and goes without saying! Who doesnt play better with better players/teammates?? And yes Steph stats would be more impressive if he had the ball in his hands more! Kerr runs a version of several offenses that all involve movement; at times he refuses to do pick and roll and or ball dominant offenses because hes an idiot! even though sometimes thats whats needed. Look at how steph played in the Boston series; Draymond was ok in that series; but Kerr took the ball out of his hands and put it in Stephs hands more; Boston had no answers!! Boston was the best defense in the league that year and Steph cooked them! Marcus Smart won defensive player of the league that year; and Steph cooked that nigga every game!! Had nothing to do with Draymond or Klay being on the court!! they threw everything at Steph and it didnt matter! Because hes a great player, one of the best ever, and thats what those types of players do....
None of this other shit has anything to do with the discussion. Kerr has been his coach for 10 years whether Draymond is on the court, on the bench or suspended. Kerr is a constant. So Kerr is a non-factor in how Curry doesn’t perform as well without Draymond.
Curry has played with Klay, KD, Iggy, Butler, Wiggins and plenty of other quality players. Played many minutes with KD or Klay on the court without Draymond. But no matter what other players were on the court, his averages were lesser without Draymond.
It isn’t just “better players/teammates.” Draymond is the real point guard. He puts Steph in a position to be successful in a way no other player does.
