I've been saying it for years. New arenas are built with the aquarium/5 star celebrity chefs restaurant/ concert hall/ VIP suites in mind 1st and a basketball court as an afterthought.
Regular people can't just decide at 6pm on a random Wednesday to go to the game tonight.
Regular people can still make it work, but it has to be planned out and financed ahead of time.
Meanwhile their some hedge fund guy that has the best 6 courtside seats, but isn't coming out of the VIP suite to use them until the 4th quarter. And only if the game is close.
