I believe President Biden will be the modern-day version of Harry Truman. Truman had the misfortune of following FDR, one of the most popular and charismatic presidents in history. He was also one of the greatest communicators of all time. Harry Truman was anything but that. Truman was a plain-spoken, small town guy from rural Missouri who most people viewed as a countrified rube, and like Joe Biden, people had a tendency to just simply dislike him. He left office as one of the most disliked and unpopular presidents in history. Yet, after he died and the focus shifted to what he actually did in office instead of his persona, his stature in history steadily rose until today, he's generally considered by most historians as the 5th or 6th greatest president of all time. It may not happen until he passes away, but I truly believe President Biden will have the same rise in stature historically. He was an excellent president, in my opinion.
