I just read the two deceased children were only 8 and 10 years old

The school shooter in Minneapolis who killed two children and injured at least 17 others has been identified as law enforcement investigates an apparent manifesto possibly linked to the suspect, sources confirmed to The Post.

Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s, opened fire through the stained glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church during a celebratory back-to-school Mass filled with children, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police are investigating whether a sick 20-minute YouTube video shared on an account hours before the shooting was connected to Westman.

In the video, a hand slowly turns the pages of a red notebook, which is laid out on top of what appears to be schematic gun diagrams.

Problem is too many people don't wanna harden schools cuz they think the presentation or aesthetics aren't representative of a school. Some of the logic there is delusional. What's more important? Do you want the kids to actually be safe or do you just want it to look safe.

Schools, churches, parades, etc.. are soft targets and are always the most likely places for shootings to occur. If you wanna reduce the likelihood of a shooting at schools then you gotta make it unappealing for weak minded cowards to attack cuz they know there's a chance they'll meet resistance.

I quit teaching recently because I reported SEVERAL threats of gun violence on the part of students that were repeatedly ignored.

I taught in the largest school district in Michigan.

I complained to the principal, the principal's boss, several assistant superintendents, and some pony tail wearing white asshole about students who had shown pictures of themselves with guns and had threatened to kill other students, students who complained of being sexually fondled by other students against their will, and outright acts and threats of violence against staff members and other students.

I taught in a middle school.

I ultimately complained to the school board; all female, all black.

I was ignored by ALL of the assholes alluded to above. Most of them were black women.

Teaching in the U.S. is not worth it.

I loved my students.

None of them are worth my life.

Just sayin'.
