Comedian Reggie Carroll is dead after being shot in Mississippi.

Law enforcement says the fatal shooting went down Wednesday in Southaven, MS.

Cops say they got a call about a shooting and when officers arrived they found Reggie suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say officers and first responders started performing life saving techniques, but Reggie ultimately died from his injuries.

Southaven Police say they have a suspect in custody and they have been charged with murder in Reggie's shooting death.

Reggie did stand up comedy and toured clubs across the country ... and he's being remembered by colleagues ... including Mo'Nique.

Billy took to Instagram Live to share his frustrations about what he views as a troubling silence from fellow comedians, including Katt Williams, Red Grant, and Mo’Nique.

In the video, Billy alleged that Reggie Carroll was shot and killed at a home connected to Katt Williams.

He urged viewers to tag media outlets and made it clear he felt the silence was unacceptable.

Billy then identified the man arrested in connection to Reggie’s death as Tranell Williams and alleged that he may be related to Katt.

He questioned why no one at the scene helped Reggie and expressed anger over what he claimed were attempts to cover up the location.

Billy is butt-hurt, pause, forgive the pun, at Katt because he put him on blast on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast for being in a bi-sexual relationship with his wife and another comedian. Billy even calls out the pod for not talking about the shooting in one of the clips. So any info coming from him is biased.

I think Katt's not talking about the situation, because he doesn't know much of anything about what transpired. True, Katt might've owned the $188K house, but more than likely, someone else was probably living there. Someone associated with that person, or that person themselves, got into it with Reggie, and the situation escalated to gunshots. I doubt Katt was even there. Billy is just bitter and trying to throw dirt on people's names. He even shit talked Red and Red was in the Bahamas at the time of the shooting. Billy is slinging shit with hopes it sticks to somebody in Katt's crew.

Agree 100% but considering this is alleged to have occured at Katt's home and his history of getting into stupid shit involving guns being drawn I don't think his being called out is unreasonable (although as you've stated this guy may be the wrong one to do it.)

I did a quick Google search on the named suspect and one site is calling him Katt's bodyguard but since I can't say the source is credible I didn't want to post it.

Granted it's cats house, but look at the street view. It's a more than fair assessment that Katt doesn't live there. Maybe he bought the house for the family member bodyguard & that person got into it with Reggie, and the situation escalated to gunshots being drawn. Whatever happened that person was arrested. Not Katt. Katt might not have even been there.

Street view the neighborhood. I doubt Katt stayed there.

I hear you.

I'm not saying Katt was involved, was present or even resides there but the fact that he's alleged to own the property and may employ one or more involved makes the speculation fair.

Additionally, since Katt has a habit of making unsubstantiated allegations against others and taking shots at them he can't really say shit if this is used against him right or wrong.
