John Cena's Final Opponent? 'I’m Cool With That' as He Prioritizes WWE's Legacy“I’ve just always been kind of reliable and showing up and doing whatever I’m asked. I really want this tour to be not only special, I want it to be special for the business. My goal has always been to leave WWE better than I found it, so whoever they deem appropriate to get that energy, man I’m cool with that.”

Sheamus comments on the 'Burger After Burger' line from Drew McIntyre:"So I wasn't happy with the way I came back after the whole thing happened when I tried hard for the Gunther match and it didn't happen, I kinda just said, I don't give a shit anymore, so I'm gonna eat what I want and not really work out. So I kind of just didn't care."When I came back with my new biker shorts, booty shorts, it was not good. I got absolutely slaughtered online. I mean, slaughtered. At first I was like, 'Oh my God,' I was like, 'Oh no.' Then I was like, Well in fairness I did kinda like party like it was the end of the world.' So, anyway, I leant into it, it was great."For the promo me and Drew did, the 'burger after burger' line, what's that show on WWE now, behind the scenes, Unreal? So I'm gonna give you my own 'Unreal' moment. I gave Drew the 'burger after burger' line. Because I was gonna lean into it. He was like, 'You want me to say that?' I was like, 'Yeah, I want you to say it, it's everywhere, bro, it's everywhere. Have you not seen Twitter in the last seven days? Have you not seen I'm getting slaughtered?'"So we did it. I gave him the line of his career. And you know why? Because that's what it is, fella, it's entertainment. That's what it's about."

Naomi says she thought she was done wrestling after walking out of WWE in 2022:“I think when the walkout and all of that happened, I think that was the first time, honestly, in my adult life, where I had the chance to stop, rethink, redefine, and figure out what I really wanted next, how I wanted, you know, my life to move forward from this. And I really, like in the beginning, struggled trying to process that. I thought I didn’t want to wrestle anymore. I thought I was done,—Even through the messiness of all that, I think, like, the beautiful part of it was me fighting through that and pushing through that and wanting to prove that there’s there’s more for me to do and accomplish. Not just in wrestling, but just as a woman and someone who’s growing and going through, like, a difficult time and a transition in life was kind of what happened.”

Naomi says it feels possible to be able to start a family and continue a wrestling career, whereas it didn’t before:“I always felt like I had this time crunch on me, but now, the women are showing and I really feel like if I wanted to stop and go have a baby, we can do it. They’re doing it so gracefully, so beautifully. And it is hard. It’s not easy. I see the lows, but they get through it, and they’re better for it. And they’re inspiring so many women. I think that’s just incredible because sixteen years ago, you didn’t feel like you could do that. I felt like it was a wrap. You have a baby, you’re done.”

Naomi says she feels inspired by Becky Lynch and other women, who were able to start a family and return to wrestling. “I always felt like I had this time crunch on me, but now, the women are showing and I really feel like if I wanted to stop and go have a baby, we can do it. They’re doing it so gracefully, so beautifully, and it is hard. It’s not easy. I see the lows, but they get through it, and they’re better for it. And they’re inspiring so many women. I think that’s just incredible because sixteen years ago, you didn’t feel like you could do that. I felt like it was a wrap. You have a baby, you’re done.”

I wonder when WWE will buy TNA outright.
At one point, I thought they would buy it by year's end, but now, they probably won't at this point. I see them helping TNA the same way they helped ECW during the Monday Night Wars with WCW. If TNA is successful, they may not sell to WWE, and honestly I think WWE is fine helping TNA grow into the number 2 promotion so long as it hurts AEW. Especially if WWE has a working relationship with TNA.
