UFC

That, plus I bet 3/4 of us are using IPTV or some other way to watch these fights.

Ridiculous to be charging someone $80 for 5 fights in today's world.
Right, especially when these big fights only come once a month and year and not every fight deserves to be on PPV.

Times are hard now and people don't have the money to be spending watching these PPV fights for $60,$70&$80.

WWE is starting to get on that train now to have people watch these PPV events which should be affordable.

But the NFL is a greedy bastard, but they're just gonna make more people illegally stream games until they come to their senses and do what Dana white did to allow fans to watch games for 1 affordable price.

Skydance-owned Paramount will become the exclusive U.S. home of Ultimate Fighting Championship under a seven-year rights deal with TKO Group Holdings, starting in 2026, that is valued at around US$7.7 billion, the companies said on Monday.

Paramount shares were up 4.2 per cent in premarket trading.

The company will carry the UFC’s full U.S. slate of 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights on its Paramount+ streaming service, with select numbered events simulcast on its CBS broadcast network. The media company also said it may pursue UFC rights in other markets as they become available.

I have paramount for Champions League so this mawfuckin great.
I'm just looking forward to being able to watch the prelim fights either later the same night or the next day.

Hate that they ESPN took the replays off of ESPN+!! That was the only reason I was subscribing.

The Paramount deal is better for a lot of people. You get a ton more programming for your 13 bucks than with ESPN+.

From what I read the contender series or looking for a fight and the ultimate fighter series are not included in the deal. So what happens to those shows?
Also hope the fighters now get a raise.

I doubt these fighters got a raise, dana white is known for not giving his fighters more money.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will host a fight at the White House on July 4, 2026, UFC CEO Dana White told CBS News on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump teased the possibility of a UFC fight on the White House grounds last month at an event kicking off a yearlong celebration for the United States’ 250th birthday, which will include events across the country.

White said he spoke with Trump about the plans Monday night, and that an in-person meeting is planned for later this month. Trump reached out to White about the fight and delegated planning to his daughter Ivanka Trump, White said.

“It is definitely going to happen,” White said on “CBS Mornings” Tuesday. “Think about this. ... July 4th, 250th birthday of the United States of America, live from CBS from the White House.”

A person familiar with the White House’s planning said it expects to host the fight on July 4 of next

White and Trump have long enjoyed a close relationship: Trump was an early supporter of the fighting league, hosting a UFC fight at his Atlantic City casino in 2001, and White has been a vocal supporter of the president’s political ambitions.

White also introduced Trump at the 2024 Republican National Convention and spoke at Trump’s October rally at Madison Square Garden.

The plans come on the heels of a multibillion-dollar streaming deal between the UFC and CBS and Paramount+, giving the network extensive television and streaming rights. Trump and his administration had previously scrutinized Paramount amid its merger with Skydance.
