@playahaitian .. didn’t a person predict when you create other facilities , alternatives, and give other access/formats to go to aka create other casinos in other places / have gambling online more people will go to them and less traffic will come to the original spot… samething happened to Atlantic City.. they created casino in queens and Yonkers and more people from nyc started going there and not to ac.. conn had a casino built also.. so nj lost its ny, conn fanbase and slowly lost a lot of money cause of the alternatives.. Vegas is seeing something similar due to other casinos being built in states, online gambling

In the town where I reside, a large indoor casino with an aquatic park is being constructed by the Native American community. Additionally, there are two more casinos located 10 to 15 miles away, so whenever I feel the urge to gamble, there's always one nearby. No need to spend big to go to Vegas.

who wants to go to hot ass vegas in the middle of summer? this dip should not be a surprise

it's overpriced and overhyped, but still a destination city for those who like that kind of thing. i'd look again in september, especially once the nfl/nba gambling/sports book season starts

I go to Vegas every year (just went in April and planning to go again in November) and follow a lot of content creators from there and this "death of Vegas" narrative that these Tik Tokers want to push is severely overblown.
Yes, tourism from foreign visitors is down in large part to Trump's tariffs and immigration policies and stuff is getting more expensive in Vegas, but its far from being a ghost town.
Casinos have purposely raised prices on everything in order to drive out the cheap folks who just wanna hang around and cause trouble without dropping any money.
They only want the big spenders around and so yes, that will reduce the number of people, but the casinos will only start panicking when the big spenders stop coming.
