Regis
Spence
AB
If they actually “retire” right now do y’all think they get in boxing HOF?

Initially, I would've said no to Regis but after checking Boxrec (Regis Prograis Boxing Record), he deserves it
Amateur 87-7, professional 34-3
2009 Ringside World Championship, the 2010 HORN National Championship, and regional Golden Gloves titles. He also competed in the 2012 Olympic Trials

Spence, ABSOLUTELY belongs in HOF
His notorious and relentless moving forward style & body shots should be honored
He is still one of my faves and was saddened when bud took the crown

AB, I'm on the fence with this one.
Would they still place you in HOF despite ones outside behaviors and legal issues or strictly on what you've contributed in the ring?

If Tim Bradley got in AB definitely gets in

Errol Spence is not a Hall of Famer. He has less title defenses than Simon Brown, and Simon Brown isn't even in. He doesn't have a better resume than Marlon Starling either, and Starling isn't even in yet. So what criteria are you basing it off of?

I'm a student of the game and don't know everything however, here's my response. To answer your question, there's so many variables as to what makes someone be classified as a HOF, you think?. I think it's based on era, obviously their skillset, who they beat during that era, and most importantly the politics that the majority votes for (Subjective)!

For me, my first opinion is when Spence went to UK to beat Kell Brook, came back to US to beat Porter, Ugas, etc. He was on a mission! My point? He was not willing to take tune-up fights like some fighters do. I'm sure you remember him selling his infamous T-shirt (before being dethroned) knocking on anyone's door who had a title during that time. My second opinion he beat note worthy opponents during his reign. Honestly, I believe a little more experience in the ring is helpful to strengthen his HOF status but even if he retired, I still believe he should get that credit.

Off and on topic question for you.....

Canelo is regarded as being a future HOF. I get it, he has the objective credits to show he deserves to be a HOF.
I must question, he also has cherry-picked a few of his fights (although him saying he'll fight anyone).
Does he REALLY belong as a HOF? Should the criteria be if you duck your mandatory's, you can be shied from this HOF recognition?
I'm so glad, Turki is enforcing this rule for his entity / Ringside.

Serious question
Why does Errol get so much hate among boxing fans? Imo dude put in work to earn that fight with Bud
That crash DEFINITELY changed his life
Does he need to win another belt?

He fought Floyd and Bivol who else do you want him to fight besides Bud?

You can’t deny AB resume before his fall from grace
He won titles in 4 different killer divisions give the man his flowers
I think he should go out with a good fight and actually retire retire
Regis has been good but he didn’t move The needle like say Lopez or any of the others that have won championships
He won’t unify but he has a good resume
That’s just my opinion though

Spence was rumored to be fighting Ortiz don’t know how true it is

@nawlinsn931
I hope AB does get in his body of work at his peak was great

I also hope he gets the help he needs outside of boxing

Most of them titles were bs paper championships in multiple weight classes. The only lineal title he won against the top guy in the division was Demarco at lightweight.

Shit is like that bs belt that Rolly Romero has now.
