It's shameful that he had to wait this long to get in the Hall of Fame. He would have been the only person close to Jerry,if it wasn't for the injury. Those two would battle it out every week to see who was the best receiver in the league.

They'll probably put Rivers in for longevity but he shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. He had too many moments in the playoffs when he had the lead and choked.
If,you're gonna have a losing record in the playoffs. You got a be Dan Marino or Peyton Manning in the regular season and I've never thought of him as those two in the regular season.
Hell,he had a more complete team than those two and still fail in the playoffs.

even with 5 turnovers it was a 1 score game going to the 4th,Detroit was able to overcome the turnovers with there superior offense but what they couldnt overcome was the fact that they had no defense. the reason they couldnt stop Wash was simply because they didnt have NFL caliber players through the defense. no depth at all to replace injuried starters and based on HOF game they havent addressed that lack of talent in the backups cause they couldnt stand up to San Diego offense. if they have defensive injuries again this year they will suffer the same result as last year where the offense will score and score but they will play a Philly a SF a Tampa who can also score but Detroit wont be able to stop them.

I agree but I ain’t gonna hold playoff records against him because that’s a team accomplishment. It’s how you play in those games and he was just like Romo. They let Rivers in it’s gonna open the flood gates. Like you said some are very good. Very good is accomplishment. The Hall should be for elite talent with exceptions like Eli. He was ass but had two SB runs where he made some big time throws.

Defense will have to keep playing strong. They should still win 9 or 10 games.
