Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

Don’t they all share Jersey revenue? Giants already made they money off Shedeur lol.
Something tells me giants ain’t making the same money off a parson jersey as the cowboys are.. when a player wearing your jersey I’m pretty sure their percentage diff, plus theirs other merch that is copped

  • The NFL shares most merchandise revenue equally among all 32 teams — even if one team’s players sell way more jerseys.
    • So if the Cowboys sell the most jerseys, the Panthers still get a share.
    • This is part of the NFL’s revenue-sharing model to keep financial balance across teams.

I like how he thinks….

I get Gronk but I would never put Tony Gonzalez ahead of Shannon at the tight end position. At some point, having three rings gotta count for something. Hell,I can't remember of Gonzalez having that moment in the playoffs.

Also,Shannon said many times that Gronk and Kelce were better than him. People need to stop disrespecting Shannon's resume because 99% of the tight ends that's currently playing and have played the game would love to have his resumé.

Tony Gonzalez was a great tight end but every team he was on failed in the playoffs.

Kelce and Gronk, okay fine. Anyone else is below Sharpe. Sharpe when he retired was the best TE in NFL history. Times change, but he was better than Tony during that era. Players act like playoff and SB performances are just run of the mill. Not everyone can come up big during the high pressure moments.

Carter included.

c carter has had some wild takes lately

sharpe has to be considered the early form of 'weapon', not necessarily tight end, though he played the te position.

no, not the greatest blocker of all time, but dude could go to the house on any play. people look at this club shay shay shit and don't recognize that this dude was feared in the nfl as a receiving 'tight end'. i still remember him crushing the raiders hopes of winning at home in oakland during that ravens super bowl run. catch inside slant, turn around,

...96 yards to the house.

10 years in.

and he was a receiving threat all the time

Keyword is “most”… a fan of the team buys certain merchandise that probably is not equally shared with others.. a sanders fan might buy other browns or other giants stuff… it’s kinda like cowboy fans be having all kinda shit that goes in their house, cars, etc.. no way all that shit is shared equally..some yes all products nah.. that’s why they said “most”.. there’s a reason why some franchise is worth way more than others

But if I'm not mistaken I do believe the Cowboys have an additional separate merchandise licensing as well.

  • That revenue goes into the “shared pool” and is split equally across all 32 teams, regardless of who sells more jerseys.
It’s equally shared fam. You have Jerry goofy ass to thank for it.

As far as why teams like the Cowboys are worth so much it’s because of attendance, sponsors, etc

They do to an extent. It depends where there merchandise is purchased.

1. The Cowboys Have Their Own Merchandising Arm

  • The Cowboys run “Blue Star Graphics”, their in-house merchandising and apparel company.
  • This allows them to produce and sell team-branded gear independently of the NFL’s centralized deals (to a degree).
  • As a result, the Cowboys can retain a larger share of profits from team-exclusive merchandise sold through their own channels.

Example: If you buy Cowboys gear from a Cowboys pro shop or their official website, the team may keep more revenue than they would from NFLShop.com.

You stuck on the jersey part.. some fans of players buy other things , shit that you only see big fans cop.. I was explaining this with how cowboy fans be having mad extra merch in their cribs, shit that go in their cars, on their doors, etc.. it’s kinda like how the chiefs made mad money off of Taylor swift cause of her fanbase.. this is what I mean with getting people like sheuder.. he gonna sell jerseys but there’s other exclusive shit that they will cop just base off of sanders.. I can guarantee some of that merch percentage goes towards the team more than others.. somebody like Jerry jones would love sanders on his team for the extra merch revenue he’d make also
