that is an argument of individuals not of community...It’s not a false dream. It’s providing opportunities to infiltrate where possible. Whether they choose to assimilate or disrupt the system is dependent upon themselves. And the more of us we can get into positions (politically, entrepreneurship, wealth, science, legal, medical, etc), then the better chances for use to make a difference from with. Both outside and inside movements must coexist. And we have a problem on both sides.
I’m a notorious dream killer, but I also understand where we are underrepresented. If they choose the side of the oppressor, then that’s their business, and I wouldn’t give a shit. They will have to learn to navigate that shit.
But if a student tells me what they want to do with their life when they are a junior or senior in college, especially the legal route, then I’m not going to kill their ambition, but at least give them an honest assessment.
"A Bad System Will Beat a Good Person Every Time."
institutions / systems are self protecting - almost everytime I hear about a change from within - upon further inspection it is always another case of continuity with only the appearance of change
Is representation really a good tactic?
Jews had a great deal of représentation in Germany's Nazi regime -they contributed and cooperated with Hitler's policies - were hired for government jobs includng jobs for the logistics and community organizing towards rounding up other jews etc for transport out of Germany
All "représentation" were the last ones put on the trains
imo revolutions are always external - an internal revoution is merely a coup / power grab
