Minecraft probably wont make it ... slowing down been out since April ...

I dont see anything else on the list thats gonna hit a billion ...

I think we underestimate how much 500 million is. That billion dollar club is for global movies. Those movies lead by black actors or women ain’t doing huge numbers.

Crazy shit is even without a billion dollar movie the industry has had stronger performances at at box office this year then last. Thanks to surprise hits like Lilo and Stich and Minecraft. I remember seeing the summer release and thinking that shit is weak this year.

last year numbers was 8.5 billion…..

It’s already at 4.9 and on pace for 10.


Has to be good news for Hollywood. Releasing movies early to make their money back seems to be a positive somehow.

I thought Thunderbolts would make more but I told you its not about money it's about being good. So mission accomplished.

They messed up Elio. THAT should have been the next big kid movie

28 years later seemed like the audience was not happy.

superman is gonna beat expectations but I don't see a billion!? The WORLD dont like America right now so i dont think globally in can hit that number.

But there is literally NOTHING ELSE IN THEATERS that matters. I dont understand how they keep missing up smurfs? And I wouldn't have dropped THAT I know what you did last summer NOW. But 8t seems like it did okay.

If it does? Woooo boy! Gunn gonna be renamed Megatron. Superman already did the job it was GOOD. critics and audiences loved it. Mission accomplished.
