The Official 2025 And Beyond WNBA Season/Women's Basketball Thread

I just started watching this game 2 minutes ago and this shit sucks, they're playing like the men in the NBA do in their All-star game
EXACTLY!!!! I was just coming in here to post just this!!

They are going the way of the men. People don't want to watch this shit.

They are killing their momentum going into the second half of the season!!

I just turned this shit off.

These All-Star Games are nothing more than non-competitive goofy Fun. Nothing serious. We just get to see our favorites play in a different social environment.

I'm just finally focused on the second half now after having a bunch of sudden phone calls.

All these chicks will go back to "hating" on one another when the season gets back.

Yep

He sounds salty lol
The league is growing and going in the right direction
A lot of young stars that will take it to the mext level
Nah this is what it's about.

WNBA players receive 9.3% of the league's total revenue, as stipulated in the current collective bargaining agreement. This is significantly less than the revenue share in other major sports leagues, where players typically receive around 50% of revenue. For example, NBA players receive between 49% and 51% of basketball-related income, according to MarketWatch.

While the WNBA players' revenue share is lower, they do benefit from revenue sharing of incremental revenue, with a 50-50 split, and also receive 50% of revenue from player-specific jersey sales, according to Just Women's Sports. However, the overall revenue share for WNBA players remains a point of contention and is a key area of discussion in ongoing CBA negotiations.

Muthafuckas get a little popular, and now they think they're NBA players. Thinking that they can play shitty basketball and we should just be happy that they showed up. :rolleyes2:

I know they've heard people complaining about the NBA ALL-STAR GAME not being competitive and it's filled me major stars what and I know they heard the reports about ticket prices dropping because Caitlin Clark wasn't playing so what makes them think people wanted to come see them bullshit around for 4 quarters? At least with the men they could showcase some long range shooting and DUNKS, all those women were doing out there was shooting long range bricks and getting layup practice..
