Marvel originally put a coat of joss when colored paint on the entire first phase and establishment of the MCU that still permeates movies and after guardians marvel basically did the same and James gunnafied a lot of their films(to mixed results since they keep hiring shitty directors and writers who don't care about the genre)

The structure of Gunn’e films and his writing style are all the same. How he writes emotional moments , his fight scenes, incorporating music into his movies and the timing, how he incorporates dialogue amongst his team of characters….

There was a time when Marvel films were similar but there’s nothing comparable to Black Panther, End game, Thor or Eternals.
But is there similarities between Guardians and Superman? For sure.
I'll give you poknts for directing style but i see no similarities with guardians besides having one or two of the same actors(nathan fillion). What rhe video is saying is that superman is one of the few movies to fully embrace the fantastical comic book feel. Comic book superhero movies have been a thing for almost 40 years and its about time. For example the 2000s x-men had meta jokes about wearing yellow spandex and marvel movies had jokes about 3 point landings and the name jokes:"your real name is Otto Octavious" at this point superhero should emprace the cokc book side more and not be embarrassed of it.
