Next up os brainiac they have to bring him to the big screen. I want to see the80's alien skeleton looking version

I enjoyed his acting work in the following series a handful of years back ...

Briarpatch is an American television series starring Rosario Dawson based on the 1984 Ross Thomas novel of the same name. The series was picked up in late January 2019 by USA Network, after being ordered to pilot in April 2018.

In advance of its broadcast premiere, several episodes of the series received a preview screening in the Primetime program of the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briarpatch_(TV_series)#cite_note-5"><span>[</span>5<span>]</span></a>

The series premiered on February 6, 2020.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briarpatch_(TV_series)#cite_note-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> On July 17, 2020, the series was canceled after one season.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briarpatch_(TV_series)#cite_note-7"><span>[</span>7<span>]</span></a>

I watched Man of Steel & this new Superman movie, back to back last night
And I actually prefer Man of Steel slightly bit more than Superman (2025)
If I had to grade them
I would probably give Superman a 7 out of 10
And I would give Man of Steel a 7.5 out of 10

Both movies leaned into the theme of Aliens, Extraterrestrials, etc, etc
But with the current awareness now in the USA, and in the world (with ufo's, etc, etc)
I feel like if Man of Steel came out in 2025 instead of 2013, it might've been more liked & appreciated
Michael Shannon gave a hell of a performance as General Zod, in that movie

Like I said I liked the zod crew better… the reality is if they gave him a rightful sequel dc still might been in the mix but they were so thirst to bring in Batman that instead of giving him a standalone movie they decided to do bvs.. I was the biggest complainer about them doing that and people on here were like bvs cartoon was so great blah blah.. I was like no way this guy had ww3 with zod and now you gonna downgrade him to fight a smart human that you know neither gonna kill each other.. that movie ended up being a piece of shit.. 1 of my biggest I told ya so moment on here.. man of steel and the justice league Snyder edition were movies that should’ve gotten more credit

It's one of those movies that is the better viewing experience on the big screen, but it was mid for me.6/10. Hey at least it was better than Captain America and Thunderbolts, so it's something :shades:

Can someone explaining the toe thing with the ex girlfriend?

Superman is projected to open with 210 plus million worldwide! FF4 is now projected to open higher! Ain’t no pressure on marvel when DC 2nd biggest property(Batman being 1st) is doing numbers like marvels 10 or even lower property…
@playahaitian
I want FF to do well..but i haven't seen enough from the trailers to think so.. . Maybe they aren't showing some C level villain in the beginning or middle of the movie.

I just finished watching the movie and personally I think it's the best live action superhero movie since Spiderman: No Way Home. Corenswet was great as Superman (I dont have anything to compare him to other than Reeve, Routh, and Cavill, even though i havent seen MOS, but I have seen him as Supes in other movies)

I'm going to have to go back and research these other characters but I thought everyone's performance was great. I gave it a 7 out of 10 because there were some a few plot holes that didnt make sense.

The scene where the fortress of Solitude was attacked and Krypto had those nanites thrown on his face and then we cut to him over there with Superman fighting the Kaiju (sp?). I'm not understanding what was going on there. Wouldn't Krypto have warned Superman? How did he get the nanites off his face?

Also towards the end when Mr. Terrific and Lois were breaking into the pocket universe, Luthor didn't have any safeguards in place to warn him what was happening? All this was going on and he didn't at least try to come stop them? Even when Mr. Terrific first landed at that campsite, shouldn't he have been warned?

I know Batman is the intellectual of the group, but I've come to expect a certain level of intelligence with Superman based off of christopher reeve's portrayal of Superman. For as much as he was identifying the reasons why he was defending his actions in the "war" to Lois, he seemed to have no clue about what was happening with Luthor Corp and the Engineer and ultraman. When he was arrested and taken to that camp site, he seemed clueless.

Oh you gonna love researching Mr Terrific and his terrific team.

If you look at it as a comic book or even a cartoon episode you'll get it and enjoy it more. It's trying to be what it is.

It's like if you picked up a comic book issue and it tells that story.
They should have made another animated movie and left the live action to be a real movie.

And another thing.....
Am I trippin, or was some of the CGI a little "overdone"? :dunno:
But again, I watched the bootleg & not in the theaters
But a couple of scenes had me thinking
"Damn that CGI looked bad"
Like for example when Lex & the Engineer get to the Fortress
Robot parts hittin Lex in the face & shit.....and dude doesn't even flinch, LOL
Its like "come on James Gunn at least make the shit look like you didn't add the CGI in at the last minute" :hmm:
