this all contingent on their draft picks. plug in gaps if the role players get too expensive and keep drafting good players that fit their system.
I don’t think it has anything to do with draft picks, if they pay Jalen like they stated; then they will be paying 3 players 200 plus million!!! They will be 2nd apron luxury tax team no matter what!! That’s 500 million payroll period. So regardless of what their draft picks are or do…

oh what money buys...

i really hate these dumb ass comparisons..

I think it’s interesting. It’s not a comparison of their actual value. And I always talk about accounting for inflation with NBA stats so of course you have to do that with money. But it’s incredible how much money this generation of players makes compared to others not long ago. I find the context helpful.

And it shouldn’t be fuel for hate— I’m also interested in the same sort of comparison when teams get sold, like the recent record haul for the Lakers. The players do more to earn their money than the owners do so I only wish they were getting a bigger share of the revenue.

@Day_Carver how are you feeling about the Warriors being the only team not to do anything at all so far this offseason?
Not happy about it but it’s been slow because of Kuminga. I’m not sure I would sign any free agents from this crop though. I wish they could trade for D white of the Celtics. But if they was able to trade Kuminga for the Chicago center and guard. Sign Al hortford for backup and get Milton or Beal; then I’ll take that…

I just think it’s stupid because most of these comparisons are trying to say players are over paid and or paid too much…

I believe he trade deadline will have many quality players to trade. So, I understand why some teams like the warriors aren't gonna make moves just for the hell of it

I dont wanna hear a f**king word about LeBron ever again.

He is the most underpaid legend based on what these no winning dudes been getting paid while he been in the league

@Day_Carver

I am pro player to the utmost. But damn.

Devin Booker getting THIS MUCH???
Devin Booker can get that much because he's been on the suns the longest, you can't expect a player who joins multiple teams to get paid that much.

I’m always pro player no matter what! And the way the system is it’s always gonna be players that some view is under paid and over paid…

I agree! And the cba makes it easier to trade players at the deadline then when they initially sign. Another stupid thing I might add…

Lebron been playing since 2004…if he was born in 2004 he would’ve been on pace to make a billion off nba contracts alone. Just different eras. But even then he 40 years old and making 53 million….Booker due to age is more valuable than Bron right now.
