The Official 2025 And Beyond WNBA Season/Women's Basketball Thread

Damn Boston isn't able to body bang Temi all the way to the hole like she has been doing all those other bigs

And I know I've counted at least 10 missed layups today

CC inability to play off ball make Boston and Mitchell play out of rhythm...

When CC dominating the ball Boston becomes a screener and Mitchell is regulated to the corner...

this is false, you were watching the game and know it's false, Caitlin Clark was in the game when the team fell behind, she wasn't in the game when they first started to come back and then in the 4th she was in the game again when the team fell behind

Her playing off the ball isn't working because the entire offensive strategy is to get the ball to her, defenses know this so they can still defend against it. If the team just ran the same offense they were running while Caitlin Clark was out where they find the open player or mismatch then the offense would run better, that is what Carolyn Peck was talking about when she said they were more dangerous without a ball dominant player on the floor

She did sit when they were coming back in the 3rd

What exactly is cc supposed to do off ball?
Shes the best facilitator on the team.
It doesn't make sense to play her off ball. Maybe with different teammates but as of now this team is most successful when she has the ball in her hand

I've seen this going around all over the internet. They spreading this lie like crazy. No one wants to acknowledge that Salty Mayo was on the floor both times the Valkyries went on a run.

Also, I don't want to hear shit about her having an ankle injury or anything like that either.

I'm going to go back and watch because I remember Caitlin being on the floor when the lead was cut to 5 and I also remember her being in the game when the lead went back up to double figures

She is supposed to do the same thing Boston, Mitchell, Howard and everybody else does when they're off the ball, be apart of the offense, just because she's the best facilitator doesn't mean she has to be the only one dishing out the ball

If you watched any of the game you know she was, there's also a lie that the Fever didn't get any easy buckets when she wasn't on the floor which is a lie too

Angel's got a shoe before Caitlin.

They said it during the game
Yes. I heard it when the Indiana Fever home broadcast team spoke of a stat for an Indiana Fever player. I’m calling bullshit on that broadcast team trying to prop up their player.

Caitlin has missed 9 games. It’s hard for any playing to lead in any category missing that much time during this point of the season.
